Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Beautiful ending. You wrapped up all the possible arcs in a pleasant bow. Well done!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
Wow. I started reading this with a bit of skepticism (some of the stories for this prompt were, in my opinion, rather ridiculous), but you wove in and out of both canon and the prompt so deftly, not to mention creating a story that was intense, satisfying and intriguing. Beautifully done. *bows to you*
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - you are too kind. It was great fun to write, but I'm very glad it's finished.
Oh, wow, and so they find their happy ending.Lovely twist on the prompt. I enjoyed it so much!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - yep, and not a binding in sight.
What a great story. That was a fantastic ending. I taught hermionie might not do it but i'm glad she did.

Glad you think so. Thanks for reviewing.
Awesome story! This was the perfect ending! Perfect!

Thank you. My pleasure
I'm so glad the story ended that way (I'm addicted to happy endings). My romantic heart is finally satisfied : both Ron and Hermione can be themselves, and that's why they can stay friends. it was a great story and the last chapter finally answered all our questions.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks - i don't think I could have written this story with any other outcome in mind.
That was a fantastic story! I loved it!!! Yay Severus and Mione!!!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks - glad you liked it.
Wow. A splendid chapter - a real tearjerker; a moral dilemma; some amazing time-turner reasonong. I love this.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. Last chapter is in the queue and will hopefully be validated as soon as I've done my corrections.
Just got around to reading this story - what a wonderful tale! I felt so bad for Hermione (and even worse for Luna). Can't wait to see what she'll make of the second chance; this was quite a cliffie.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - glad you liked it. Last chapter should be up in a few days.
As soon as Severus offered Hermione that chance, I thought about Luna, and how it would help her, too. Free her from a sad marraige. And I beleive the same thing about souls, that they will be born into one family or another. This is turning out so interesting! How incredibly clever of you to have made it both canon compliant (including epilogue) and 'Snape-lives.'This is so neat! I almost stopped reading when it got so dark, with Hermione and Luna both unhappy, but I am so glad I gave it the chance. Thank you for this excellent story!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks. I'm glad you gave it a chance and read it all. Last chapter should be up in a few days.
a second chance to get it right, wouldn't a lot of people like that!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
I know if someone offered me the chance to be nineteen again, I'd bite their hand off. Thanks for leaving a review
I can understand how hard this choice would be for Hermione. I think that poor Luna's death would really send her over the edge on deciding. Now let's see if she does manage to change things and how her life turns out from there.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Yes, I don't think such a choice could be made easily. Next chapter is almost ready to be posted, so you shouldn't have to wait much longer.
This one looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
My pleasure
Poor Hermione. I can see Snape having so many difficulties with social niceties and how he would drive her to drink. And I love the flying part. Very nice touch.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
I don't think he likes being an invalid - must be very frustrating for him to be dependent on someone. And after all Hermione's been through, I think she deserves a drink :)
Nicely done. I really like that he does ask her why and she doesn't really have a good answer. Got to love Hermione and her Gryffindor sensibilities. :D
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
I think Hermione has a stong sense of justice, although in the aftemath of battle and all that death, I think she was working on instict more than intellect. Thanks for leaving a review
Oooh, what a wonderful twist, Snape not only returned from the supposed dead, but that Hermione was the one to help him. Now the guilt is going to switch places. Though I am very intrigued about his question about whether she would want the time back or not. Enquiring minds want to know and are moving on to the next chapter as fast the mouse clicks will allow. LOL
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks, glad you're enjoying it so far.

I have to admit, I was kind of meh on the story the first couple of chapters, but stuck with it and I utterly fell in love with the story here in Chapter 3. :D That's why I try to give all stories the benefit of the doubt the first couple of chapters. I really need to do more reading and reviewing. :D
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
It's strange because i really loved writing the first two chapters - it's great to be able to be ironic and really vent my spleen over how I feel about Hermione being forced to marry anyone. If it had been Severus, more people would have said oh wonderful she has to marry severus, isn't that romantic? Well, no it isn't. I'm sure many people were revolted by the idea of her having to marry Ron, I hope one or two people were rovolted by the idea, full-stop.
Oh, poor Hermione. Stuck by a simple mistake with an old book. And I love how Lucius is still pulling strings, getting his way. I really do feel sorry for Hermione. Ginny had it right, she and Ron aren't meant for each other and want different things out of life and this just really shows that.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
I don't think Hermione had her wits about her that night - she was tired, drunk and distracted. And Ron didn't ask for it either. Thanks for reviewing
Oh, very steamy. I can see why he modified her memories now. And very well done. It felt very real about it getting there. I also love how he still can't be completely nice, that his nice involves insults and other barbs. :D
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Very nice how you start at the end of the chapter and then go back to the beginning and bring us back around to the explosion. And I love the reaction of the guys. LOL
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks
I am so glad Hermione gets a chance to go back and that she makes that decision, that leap of faith, for her children, Luna, even Ron in a side-wise sort of way in short out of love for others as well as herself. Very scary. I don't know if I could have done it (better the devil you know and all that), but love is after all a choice. Amor vincit omnia et nos cedamus amori (Love conquers all therefore let us yield to love ), Virgil.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
I think that's very true. And I don't think it's ever an easy decision putting others needs before your own. Thanks for reviewing.
So she'd going back... I wonder if she'll marry Ron all over again or if she really will wait for Sev - or at least be with him in the end. I also wonder (if she changes her future) what mark she will make on the world. I would imagine, as I guess many do since fanfic is filled with this, that Hermione would have quite an impact on the wizarding world due to her high intellegence. Looking forward to seeing what becomes of our Gryffindor in her new future.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - you won't have to wait much longer to find out.
oh boy! this is getting better and better. i await the next installment with bated breath. thanks so much
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Glad you like it - one more to go.
well, i certainly did not see that coming, but i like it. i liked how you explained about time and space and souls and birth and all of that sort of metaphysical stuff. i'm glad she is going back, for many reasons, not least of which is to make things right for luna, too. this was a very moving chapter, and i'm really looking forward to seeing what hermione makes/made of her life in the next.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
ok cool she is going back but will they end up together i hope so
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
