Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Very intense!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Lol. Thank you!
Oh... very good!
I was wondering how you were going to make Snape come back and I very much like how this was done!
Off to read the rest...
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you, Lissa. Hope you like the rest of it :)
Congrats on your 3rd place win for this story. It was by far my favorite. Well done you!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you, my dear. Did you guess it was me?
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
Yes I did guess it was you. It has Meli stamped all over it. I remain impressed at how you flipped the standard and had Hermione be the one damaged in the future and Snape successful. I cannot think of another story like it. And your Hermione was faliable, she made a mistake, a big one that she couldnt escape. No "super witch" here!
God, I loved it. I should be working on my thesis and yet... here I am, almost chocking back tears because of your story.Lovely, really. Well done. And congratulations on being one of the winners!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
I pretty much wanted to cry for Hermione by the end!And poor Luna Draco and Kingsley! Stupid Lucuis. *Grr!*
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Good to know it created such an emotional response - thanks for reviewing
You worked out the story ending so beautifully - theChrononavigstor was a masterly idea. I loved the ideaof Severus being a virgin at 38 - so sweet - and I'm just so glad that Hermione didn't end up married to Ron.As for having eight children - no, just one with Severuswould be much better in terms of quality. Your plot wasquite complex, but everything fell into place in a verycredible way. Thanks for a really enjoyable and involvingread.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. The chrononavigator belongs to sylvanawood however - I'm hopeless with scientific type things.Glad you enjoyed the story.
That's a very clever way out. I loved this chapter!
*dashes off to read the next*

Thank you hope you like the last one.
What a lovely and sweet ending for Severus and Hermione. This beautifully written story is definitely one of my favourites in the current challenge. To force people into intimacy is a horrible thing and I very much liked the way you showed the possibly disastrous consequences of forced bondings and yet gave Severus and Hermione a happy ending.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. That was my intention - a lot of people seem to think it perfectly acceptable to force Hermione to marry Severus - so I decided to shake it up a bit. Glad you liked it.
This story was very clever and very well written. I love how you completely changed it but made it the same. I am so happy you allowed the kids to come back through Lavender and Ron, a happily married and in love couple. Especially Hugo! Great ending to a well thought out fic.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to review every chapter,
I enjoyed this chapter. Each insecure in their own way. And I liked the realistic sex, and how she wasn't afraid to as for and tell what she wanted.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. Even sex-gods have tio start somewhere :)
Very very clever!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Glad you thought so, thanks
ah finally , what was meant to be, the thought of Hermione with all those kids was just too much!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
yes, indeed, I quite agree. Thanks for reviewing
I liked what you did with Hugo, although I have to say, I was set to not like the end of this after the penultimate chapter. I wasn't sure how I felt about the "send Hermione back in time thing". Not so when I got to this one! This was a perfect way to set up the happy ending and get our heroes back together. An excellent story! Thank you!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks, glad you liked it in the end. I think Hermione had a tough choice to make - or, I could have made her wait until all her kids were grown up social misfits with behavioural problems - after all, the past would have still been there for her to go back to. But I also think she had a sense of the wrongness of her circumustances, and while it might have been a leap of faith (as there were no guarantees that things would be any better), she knew deep down she was doing the right thing. That's all I can say about it really. Thanks again for reviewing.
Oh how beautifully done. I was furious with you when I read the first 19 years later segment...how could you do that to Hermione and Severus? But you more than made up for it in the end. I only wish I knew if they had a boy or a girl and were they happy? Irish
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
ThanksIt wasn't easy, but then forced marriages seldom are either.Glad you enjoyed it in the end.I'll leave the rest up to you.
I am sorry to see the end of this story. In my opinion it is the best story of the challenge. I appreciate the way you wove all the details together. Once your identity is revealed I am looking forward to printing it all out and rereading it. I am a happy little fan girl.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Bless you. Thank you so much, I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
*melts*Great way to wrap it all up! I'm so happy for them *sniffles*. Thanks for a very clever, original, wonderful read!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
YAY! What a great story! I absolutely loved it!!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you.
OHhh that was lovely! and She still got to spoil Hugo. Dreamie even if we don't know who married Draco. I suppose it doesn't really matter though. Brilliant!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - yes, poor Draco still had to marry to produce an heir. Hopefully, she won't be as much of an embarrassment to the Malfoys as Luna was.Glad you enjoyed it.
i loved this story, and this was a wonderful final chapter. there was a moment when i was thinking, 'but how come he waited 19 years to come back?' then i remembered - damned epilogue! i really loved what you did here and how you managed to make it all work out. (though now, since i can't have dark, brooding potions master, i have a craving for dark chocolate digestive biscuits. serious oversight that there are none in the house. will have to go get some.)
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks, glad you liked it - yes the epilogue was the main reason for the 19 year gap, but I think Severus didn't want to return until he had achieved something worthwhile - you know, standing tall and with something to offer Hermione. Being respected and sought after for his talent would be important to him. And Hermione, too, had a lot of growing up to do in the meantime. Thanks again for reviewing.
perfect...absolutely perfect ending. and i don't feel a bit sorry for lavender as long as she's happy. better her than me! thanks so much for sharing your time your vision and your talent to bring it forth.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks - yes, if that's what you want out of life, good luck to you.Glad you enjoyed it.
I was afraid that you would end the story too quickly. I think it was perfect - no need to get too much into what Hermione did for the repeated 19 years. You did a great job on this very sweet story.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks. I'm glad you think so.
A lovely ending. I loved the way it mirrored the previous events - and how much better everything worked out the second time around!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks. glad you liked it.
Nice touch with Hugo. A well rounded story.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)

A beautiful ending:-))

Thanks - glad you liked it.
Thanks for such a wonderful story. I loved all of the twists and turns. I wasn't sure how things were going to work out there for awhile, but they sure did. Your work provided good plot lines and lovely imagery thoughout, but especially in the final scenes. Thanks again for sharing, JoAnne
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you for reading and bearing with me throughout. I'm very glad to be finally able to stop keeping it all together in my head. Thanks for reviewing.
