Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Good for Hermione! Maybe she'll get it right this time?

You'll have to keep reading :)Thanks for reviewing
I loved this story - after I got over hating this story. Very well done. Thank you Thank you for not leaving Hermione in that situation!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks - no, I couldn't leave Hermione in that situation - she deserves better - as does Severus.
Wonderful ending. Loved the way it tied in to Hermione's previous life with Ron, but this time Lavendar having he kids and the way you were able to have Sev and her say the same words to each other but have them take on a different meaning in the different circumstances.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
I've just discovered your story, and I very nearly stopped reading it when I reached the chapter where Hermione is stuck with Ronnikins's brats and the charm making her long for him and imposing fidelity on her as it produced almost physical revulsion in me, which is not a criticism to your story. On the contrary it is a sign how extremely well-written this is. Anyway, I read on and I am very glad that I did.
I loved the current chapter. Hermione and Severus together are very sweet in a good way and I like very much that he remains essentially himself despite his injuries. And of course I am very curious. Did he obliviate her? What about his remark when he came to see her? Does this mean that there is a way to undo what happened? I am very much looking forward to the next chapter!

I don't blame you for wanting to stop reading - I didn't particularly enjoy writing it - but I don't like the idea that forced marriages are ok so long as it's to Severus, either.
As to whether anything can be done about it - you'll have to wait and see.
Response from Dreamy_Dragon (Reviewer)
I absolutely agree on the forced marriage thing. I don't particularly like that concept regardless who the partners involved are.
*waits and wibbles for next chapter*

This story has gone from good to great. It's hard to imagine being stuck raising so many children in such a loveless marriage; if only Severus can save her as she did him. I'm on the edge of my seat hoping for an update. Thanks for writing!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - I'm still writing the next chapter at the moment, but you shouldn't have to wait too long for an update.
Glad you're enjoying it.

Wow! Those sure are some potent memories she'd forgotten. I especially like the way she communicated with the castle which helped her to save the Headmaster.

Very nice chapter. I especially loved the detail of the Headmaster’s rooms and the potions box. I’m so glad he’s softening toward Hermione and that there is going to be a friendship growing. Way to go!

Wow that was a twist I hadn't expected! Hmmm... Interesting. I knew the R/Hr couldn't be right. I wonder if he'll be able to undo the bond. I suspect both Hermione and Ron AND their children would all be happier for it.
I'm worried about Luna, though. She sounds like a shadow of herself, I hope they didn't do anything nasty to her.

Well, you'll have to keep reading to find out.

Oh my, I can't wait to see what happens next! I imagine a Molly Gru-esque moment, "How dare you come to me now! When I am this!" But I must wait and see what kind of trick you've got up your sleeve!

Oh my! MUCH better ending than that horrid epiloge in the book! Very well done!! I can't wait to read the coming chapters!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thanks - although i don't think it takes much to improve on the original epilogue (YUK). anyway, glad your're enjoying it - hope you continue to the end

Ah! So that is what really happened! I'm curious as to whether or not anything romantic happened between them before he Obliviated her. I love the dynamics between themperfectly in character and enjoyable to read

Thank you again. As to romance - you'll have to wait and see. :)

I really love what you are doing here. You've managed to successfully make it DH compliant including the epilogue. I liked how the Plight-Troth Charm did not go as plan and how lives were ruined because of it. It's all rather unique. I also liked how Ron had chosen to be back with Lavender and had no interest in Hermione. It's too bad he ends up besing such an arse in the story, but it suits the plot well =) And now you've brought Severus Snape back… I hope he saves her just like she saved him… I love the story so far =)
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. As to the Plight-troth charm - well, statistically, I wouldn't have thought it likely that six people forced into marriage are all going to end up happy about it.
Glad you think it' unique. Hope you continue to enjoy it.

Now we know how Severus survived . . . but we still don't know when he Obliviated Hermione. Will he try to make some amends? Perhaps finding a way for Hermione to disolve her marriage with Ron? *hint hint*Anyway, I look forward to learning more about Severus' life since the war.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Can't tell you sorry, it'll spoil the surprise.

The more I read this story the more I like it! If possible... Please update it soon?
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you - I'll be getting back to it as soon as I've answered this review. :)
i love this explanation for how hermione saved snape's life. i find myself wondering if anything - interesting - happens between them in ireland! looking forward to wherever you take us in the next chapter.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. Hmmm... we shall see what develops.
this is such an interesting story. it's kind of depressing that hermione ended up stuck in this marriage for so long, and i'm afraid it's even worse for luna. but i liked the whole reappearance of snape. it's very interesting how you've managed to make it compatible with that infamous epilogue.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
thanks - i can imagine being married to Ron for all that time would be depressing with or without the children - and yes, that's my twist on the epilogue.
Glad you're enjoying it
Oh, I love the thought of the medicine chest that responds to requests. Very ingenious! I'm glad that Severus willingly agreed to go to Hermione's grandmother's house. It seems like the best option.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you.
Yes, he just needs a firm hand now and again.
Very intriguing! BTW, it's perfectly compatible to wish you had fewer children, and at the same time absolutely not wanting to lose any of them. No one in his right mind wants to get rid of the children they already have, but that doesn't mean you couldn't regret having 8 (eight!!) instead of 4, especially not if there's no love between you and their father who has left you barefooted and tied to the kitchen sink, with no time to ever do what you want to do for yourself. Hermione's plight, and her feelings about it, are realistic enough, unfortunately. Is Snape going to reverse the spell or counteract the potion? I'd like to see him together with Hermione, while he can bring some order in the Weasley kindergarten, and since he's so well off, Hermione could get rid of the most boring household tasks and start enjoying her kids...
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Hmm yes... All good points. Can't say too much on the subject though...
Thanks for reviewing.
Response from HannahSmith (Reviewer)
No, don't give away the plot just yet! I´m only hinting what I'd like to see happening...;-))
