well, they are protesting quite a lot.  i guess it's understandable given the situation.  it must suck to be forced to marry someone who you never thought about that way before and in snape's case don't even like.  even though i'm a ridiculous romantic, so i think i'd feel the bond-thingy and be like, 'hmm.  maybe this isn't so bad after all.'  but then, i'm also not incredibly stubborn and i don't hate any of these characters, so i wouldn't find the whole situation intolerable.i liked that there was a little bit of thawing between ron and luna, even though there's still a ways to go.  but am really looking forward to whatever eventually happens to make severus start to look at things differently.to sum up - great job!  i'm totally hooked on your story and can't wait until the next installment!

Speaking of Ron, though. He was fantastic in this chapter! I love how he protected Luna against the guard and got all jealous about Dean (Dean/Luna! OMG YAY!) even if he didn't understand why. And that he didn't try to deny that he had felt that. And how he was sorry when he realised that Luna thought he really hated her. Methinks he'll come around quicker than I thought.

Still... Poor Luna. A large part of this may be her fault, but she's getting more than punished for it. How humiliating was this for her? Being force-married to an unwilling husband, landing in Azkaban, then having husband almost say he hates her and finally having to consumate the marriage IN Azkaban with the man who nearly hates her. Oh! *cuddles Luna* 

But back to Snape. Can I smack him? But he'll get wiser though. Sooner or later he'll want to have sex and he'll have no other choice or he'll watch Hermione speaking with some other man and get jealous, or even better see someone lusting after her. Or anything, as long as he gets his craniel end out of his caudal end post haste! 

Thank you for the update, I love this story:-) Please don't think of the rest of the review as me complaining, it is more like being so hooked on your story and caracters that I just have to give my oppinion:-) : I am not to impressed by Ron and Severus at the moment, while they have been thrown into a unwanted situation, they do behave rather immature. Ron being so concerned about who Luna had been with before him and that Severus got to play with a "new" toy he had imagined for him self. Again, a weaker girl than Luna would quite easily be destroyed by his immature antics. And yes, I accept that he was in love with Hermione, but I don't think he is grown up enough to truly Love someone in the meaning of "for the rest of our life and I think you are perfect as you is" kind of love. He is more in love with what he thinks he could have made it into being. For Severus, well at least Ron has the excuse of youth, Severus is maybe even more immature emotinally, and he is behaving rather stupid for being a supposidly smart man. One migth also think of him as an emotional coward, not that he didn't love Lily, not that he have to love Hermione, but for clinging to a memory for so many years. Lily might have loved him as a friend, and I say migth with a purpose. Would a true friend join the group of people who made ones best friends life hell for so many years at school? I don't think Lily joined the Marauders in their pranks, and I guess James did grew up sometime, and Severus probably gave as good as he got, but it doesn't change the fact that the image of this perfect girl in Severus mind, who he claims to have been his soulmate, in reality was a girl who fell in love with, and married his worst enemy. Soul mates implies that they both feels the same, I doubt James had to use imperio on Lily to have her marry him, so I guess Lily thought of Severus as a friend, nothing else, and by that makes it clear that whatever they were, they were not soul mates. But, I guess it is much safer to claim that the only one worthy of their love is dead, then one don't have to risk loosing anything again. Both Hermione and Luna should ignore their "beloved" husbands for a while, let them get what they claims they want and go on with their life. Nothing hurts the male pride more than being ignored, no matter how much they claim that is what they want. Being ignored is quite different from doing the ignoring them selves, and both Ron and Severus fits very nicely into the category of men who likes to be the one ignoring, and hating being ignored. Both Ron and Severus will rather cling to, and dream of, what they can't have then appriciate what is freely given them, so if Luna and Hermione wants their attention, they should move themself into the "can't have" category. If the girls really wants their men, (and I admit that I do wonder why at the moment:-)) they must make their men want them, and to that, the men must think that they can't have them .....:-))  Update again soon!

Well I think you are right in saying that Ron and Severus protest a little too much, but I also think that Ron will probably come to terms with his marriage a little quicker.  I think he may be the more out of sight out of mind type.  Not that he will stop caring for Hermione, but I think he will come to appreciate Luna's love and care a lot sooner than Severus will admit that he has feelings for Hermione.  What worries me more is Ginny -- will she ever be able to let go of Harry and make a life with Oliver?  Well I think this will all make for a fun and interesting story.  I look forward to your next chapter.  Thanks, JoAnne

I think ron and luna will resolve earlier, and this will bother HG.  Snape will not come around for a while, because he is a stubborn git.
