Care of Magical Creatures recently received two awards on "Secrets of the Dark Vaults," a Russian fanfic site. Best NC-17 and Best Maxi Translation. The Nine-Year Plan was awarded Best Mini-Fic! I'm delighted to be in translation and to please the readers in Russia!

About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

Each chapter you're amazing me. There is so much passion in his acts, so much desperation too and above all else Love. Love that can save the world from the most Evil. Love that can make the sour Potions Master try the Prince Charming's Kiss (*smile at that thought*). Love that can infuse hope into the most pessimist being. Love which can make the "non-believer" to have Faith in whatever can save Her even if it is Muggle. Love that can bring a man to his knees, to pour his heart from his eyes with salvaging tears, Healing Tears and finally bring Her back.All this story was just about this Pure Love between two Souls and despite the drama, the pains, the laughs, despite everything, all of it was just about Love.I know it's just a story and nothing real but you have my deepest admiration and gratitude for having written it. Because whoever read this can't help have Faith in Love, believe in Its amazing, endless powers. At least that's the way how I feel.

"Whoso loves, believes the impossible."Elizabeth Barret BrowningIt's been four days, I've read and pondered the update twice then read the reviews seraching for inspiration but I find I am still somewhat at a loss as to what to write. To say exquisitely done is the best I can do.For most of this story the focus has been on what Hermione has learned about and done for Severus Snape. For this one chapter he has been required to come to know and see just who the Fates, God, Magic whoever has graciously gifted to him. It's about time.I do have one question, why did Lucius save her for him?

Thank you for seeing so much, because this is the chapter I have known I had to write from very early in the story, and in fact, is one reason I titled the story Care of Magical Creatures, because to me these were two very magical creatures who did not have people caring for them as much as they deserved. The irony was that this chapter of "caring" was when she was unmagical. I'm really gratified to know that the chapter moved you because it was an intense chapter to write, as you can probably guess.As for Lucius--all will be revealed!

I loved the entire scene with the bed (the good one, not the EvilSnake!Bed) it read exactly how I felt when I purchased my first extravagent mattress. ;)

Thank you! You know, I had no idea until Snape mentioned it that a standard Hogwarts-issue bed might bring its own "issues" with it, though considering moving staircases and such, I shouldn't be surprised. I didn't realize until they spent that first night in bed that perhaps the only "issue" might simply be (as you put it) an "extravagant mattress." Maybe Hogwarts itself is the first entity to step up to the plate and take care of these magical creatures?

Believe it or not, I was on vacation for two weeks and still finding ways to update (and write) regularly. But then I got home and it took me a week to bounce back! But I'm back now. Thank you for your patience (or impatience, as the case may be)!

Hehehe, I was in a giggling heap of tears by the end of the chapter; name calling, snakey beds, and crookshanks to top it all off. You have it all, so what next?Personally I'm voting for an argument over whose side of the bed they're on when they decide to get intimate.Incase I wasn't coherant enough, loving the story!
