I'm a 26-year-old Accounts Payable manager for a construction company. Basically, I'm paid to write checks and intimidate the menfolk around here. I live with my boyfriend and our dog. I wasn't sucked into the HP fandom until just after the release of HBP. So, I'm a newbie compared to most of the fans out there. I've written in several other fandoms (under different pennames) - Anita Blake, Buffy, X-Files, etc.

Nice little ending to chapter seven. I have to admit (although it would make me seem as predictable as the other readers), I was expecting a completely luscious kiss, but it would be more like Snape, I think, if he left all us swooning female readers without fulfilling our expectations. I'm quite enjoying this little juicy story.

Snape is such a tease. He'd be all about making some unfortunate girl grovel and beg before he kissed her. Anyway, glad you liked the fic!
I've only read the first two chapters so far, but I really have to compliment you on your style. It's far better than all the other sappy, thoughtless, out-of-character fanfictions I've had the misfortune to stumble upon. I really think it's a good, well-written story so far.

Oh, how cute is that?! I can just imagine the look on Hermione's face when she sees her daughter with THAT manuscript in her hands. And the fact that Daddy is more lenient than Mum ... classic!

Snape just strikes me as the type to be really easy on his own children, provided that they are reasonably intelligent and well-behaved. He'd be the father who surprises everyone by indulging his kids. Hermione's much more of a task master.

The smut fairy didn't visit me on Sunday night when I sat down to write it. :-( Sorry! I'm sure there will be more smut forthcoming after I read DH and figure out a way to bring people back from the dead (seeing as how I have this bad feeling about our dear Severus).
Wow, wonderful. I'm enjoying this very much. The writing is very good. There isn't any awkward writing or the repeated use of certain words that can distract from a story. It's a very seemless sort of writing. Which means I can enjoy the story and not think about the fact that I'm actually reading a story. I am that immersed in it.Miriam

I wobbled back and forth on the epilogue after a few people asked for it. When this scene came to mind, I decided to just go ahead an do it, even if the story had been finished months before. Anyway, glad you liked it, and I'm sure there will be more from me on the other side of DH.
Awww. that was so cute. I just love this story. I don't reall know what else to say without sounding like a rabid-fangurl, and they're just scary. Loved it. :)
