Realizing that the characters of the romance novels his students read in his class are based on himself and other members of the Hogwarts' staff, Severus Snape sets out to find the author.
Hermione Granger is a freelance journalist and part-time romance novelist. Her romance series is a smashing success. As she pens the latest addition in the series, a dark, mysterious stranger lays claim to the vacation villa and her heart.

I'm a married with two children (my son and husband.) At first I thought my older sister and brother were crazy, talking about Harry Potter. Then I was bitten by the bug, er...wolf. Without reading any of the books, I watched all of the movies. POA left me with so many questions that I broke down and read the books. I've been hooked ever since. I started out looking for Remus fanfiction and was dragged kicking and screaming into the SS/HG ship. I'm currently working on my second SS/HG fic.

Go Hermione go! I love Severus, but he deserves the torture. I hope this is just the tip of the iceberg, and Hermione can properly get him when she finally remembers everything. Of course I'm rooting for them to be together in the end

Whew...very passionate, and there was a nice foreshadowing of the consequences that are going to dump down with a vengeance. I liked the description of him watching her, and thinking it was the memory he'd relive when he was "old and alone" -- because there would be a decent chance he'd end up that way after this stunt!

I could understand Snape to an extent. Using him as a character for a novel of sexual content would surely not be the best thing to find about but this revenge went a little too far. I know he got lost in the lust but he shouldn't have done it anyway. This was far too much. It may cost him more than he already gained by means of his revenge.
Well, I really hope to see more of this soon. It is absolutely awesome work. 5 stars for you! Chau!

Whew! I am so glad that someone pointed out that his revenge went too far. It is going to backfire on him terribly, and there will be no quick fix for him. I am currently working on chapter eight, in which much light will be shed on his true character and motivations. I must encourage each and every reader to keep reading. I bend over backwards to keep Snape in character. He isn't a very nice person, but I believe that he is lovable... by the right person, of course ;) Thanks for reviewing!
Revenge is a dish best served cold, and that chapter was anything but. I'm glad Snape has a change of heart and realizes how cruel he is being right now. I can't wait to see what Hermione does when she figures this out.

No worries, I am glad to know that Severus' conscience wouldn't allow him to completely screw Hermione over (figuratively). I like Severus to be human enough to feel emotions other than those of revenge. Very well written chapter. I am excited to see what will happen next.

Delusions of grandeur is from Return of the Jedi, after Han Solo is unfrozen and tossed into the holding cell with Chewbaca. The Wookie is telling Han about Luke's plans and how Luke has become a Jedi. Han's response is, "I'm out of it for a little while and everybody starts having delusions of granduer."
That is just a line that stuck with me. You have to be a strong character to pull "delusions of granduer" off as an insult and Ginny fit that mold perfectly.

Thank you for the compliments. Believe it our not, I started writing this story a year ago. Then, real life shelved it for me. I have only recently picked it back up and started working on it again.

Thank you for the compliments. My husband keeps hoping that my "amazing talent" will pay bills one day. I use fanfiction as practice as I pen my original paranormal romance series. I adore Drunk!Snape. Can you imagine how much it must take to actually get him drunk? He he! You're the second person to comment on the "delusions of grandeur." That's one of my favorite lines for Return of the Jedi ;)

I am a huge fan of romance novels. I read all the time. When I say all the time, I mean all the time. I even read while I drive. (Technically, I read at stop lights,) When I realized that I could meld the Harry Potter characters into a "Romance Rabble" series, I knew it would be fun. Of course, I couldn't resist poking fun at some of the absurd lines in romance books, and I figured what better sarcastic humor then Snape! He is priceless. Thanks for reviewing.

Thank you for the compliments. I shall be updating weekly in the next eight weeks (for that is how many chapters I have written). After that, I am not sure of when the updates will take place. Lemons? Don't fret. I have modeled this story after the dirty smut romance novels I consume :)
