Update June 4, 2013:
Parenthood: Ready or Not - Chapter 13 has a good chunk written and I'm trying very hard to get my head back into it so that it's not left abandoned.
Other than that, I've really wandered away from fandom and am mostly writing original things.
Reviews for Parenthood: Ready or Not
I've really enjoyed "Parenthood: Ready or Not". I realize that it's been ages since you've made an update to it, so you've probably decided not to continue your story. I decided though to write a quick note to request that if you get a chance, to complete it. Thanks much.

I want to finish it, I just don't have the inspiration for it anymore. Who knows, maybe I'll get back to it eventually.Thank you so much for the lovely comment though
Blaise is a bit insane isn't he? And I'm glad he didn't get Hermione back. Jessie certainly knows her own mind.
Oh, Blaise basically kidnapped her! That is just inappropriate, even if he desperately wants to speak with her. He should use his brains and just approach Severus with monitored visits.
*shakes head* Blaise has spent too much time with Gryffindors. LOL.
Great update, and I look forward to the next chapter!
Great story! I read it all the way through in one sitting. Minerva's lines are from the movie What a Girl Wants. (No, I didn't Google it.) :) Fifty points to Ravenclaw!

I am so happy for your update, I love this story!!! A great chapter. Though I didn't had any positive feelings for Blaise at the start of this chapter, I have warmed up to him somewhat now. If Jessica and Maria really is his cousins, I hope Severus and Arthur will find it in their harths to let Blaise get to know them, and them know him, and that they can trust that Blaise won't pull any more stunts in regards to stunning and kidnapping said girls:-) I have a wary feeling that things migth not turn out well for Mark, Hermiones charge. Though this story is centered around Severus and Jessica, we have "heard and seen" so little about Mark, other than he migth very well die, that I fear that will be the case? I love Jessica's scheeming with Molly, and I am quite sure that she will be sorted to Slythering when that day comes (or Gryffindor for having the courrage to scheeme behind the back of the Head of Slytherin:-))Update again soon, I look forward to read more of this great story!!!

Or Ravenclaw for her unusual intelligence; or Hufflepuff for her innate fairness toward everyone? LOL, basically Jessie could go anywhere at this point. But I really like your reasoning for if she goes into Gryffindor. As for Mark, he will appear in the next chapter, which is about half-way written (damn that tempermental muse). Hopefully I will update again before too long. I'm so very terribly sorry about the long wait. And, I know you reviewed four months ago, and I'm usually on top of responded, but hey, better late than never, right? *grin*Thank you so much for reading and for leaving such a wonderful review!

First, let me say a huge thank you for such a wonderful review! It's made my day, and as the day is early yet, that's a wonderful thing! When I introduced Blaise into the story and was figuring out his motivations and all, I really didn't want him to stay the antagonist of the story, so I'm glad you've warmed up to him. As for whether or not Severus will be able to trust Blaise anytime soon, I can't say, but our favorite Know-It-All could have some persuasion there, hmm? Mark is such a sweet little guy. I've had a scene written between him and Hermione for ages, I just haven't found a good place to bring it into the story, hopefully next chapter. Jessie is definitely a clever little girl, she's got Slytherin written all over her! (Though, you're right, it is a mark of courage to scheme behind the back of the Head of Schemers Slytherins.) Thanks again for the lovely review!

I won't cheat the points from someone who didn't have to google it, but it clicked and I absolutely had to know, even before you offered the points:P Definitely one of the more memorable lines from that film. Soooo good. And those pants. Oh, I suppose I should mention that the rest of your chapter rocked, lol. It's been too long. Happy writing!

lol definitely one of the more memorable lines. It's a favorite movie of mine and I just couldn't resist someone sharing those lines with Severus, so when the opportunity presented itself, I grasped it! Thank you so much for the lovely review!Happy Reading! (I tell writers 'Happy Writing' in reviews, too, how neat is that!)

I found this story again, and I still love it. I wonder if you'll continue.
Response from Delayed Poet (Author of Parenthood: Ready or Not)
I don't have plans on abandoning it completely, but I just haven't been inspired to write it. But, yes, I will continue it eventually. Thank you so much for the review :) It always puts a smile on my face and makes me want to finish it when I get the occassional review.
