It's a good premise, and I like what you have so far. I look forward to seeing more of the reactions from Severus, Hermione, Draco, and Ginny, as well as their friends and family.

However, for some constructive criticism, I think that, at times, the language is rather stiff-sounding and too formal. For certain characters, like Snape for instance, it's acceptable most times, but when Ginny sounds entirely too structured when she talks, it takes away from the believability of the story.

As an outsider looking in on the plot, this is very funny!  (I love a cranky Snape and a confident but naive Hermione.  Sarcastic Draco is great, too.)  I'm looking forward to seeing how the couples get to know each other, especially since Snape has pointed out the fact that they really don't know a thing about the other.  Will Hermione redecorate the Dungeons?  Will Draco cheat at chess or Scrabble?  Will both couples have to play one of those hokey get-to-know you Romantic games based on taboos?  Or, will Snape try to genetically engineer the brain and appearance of his child (yet have the engineering go awry)?  I can't wait to find out!

I love that Hermione fell completely to peices and Snape was the articulate one. That feels true to me. And Draco was so sweet to Ginny. Awwww. Keep on writing young lady!

Great start. Ginny and Hermione are in for some real sisterhood moments. Conspicously absent was a conversation between Severus and Hermione regarding other lovers, or was that covered by Severus asking her not to see Ron once they are married?

What a great beginning. I am a little worried though. They need to spend their entire lives pregnant.   "The problem is that the newborn has to come from the victim. If you conceive, the curse goes dormant, but it returns full force once the child is born."  What a horrible way to live. Can they somehow get through this and solve the problem at hand. As I see it, the immediate problem is to get pregnant now, but how to keep from having to stay pregnant is the real problem. Oh my goodness what a mess. I am eagerly awaiting next week's update!!!!

Bravo cocoachristy!  I love this opening chapter.  I love how you've portrayed the girls.  I think you've written their confusion and anxiety marvelously.  At first I thought it was a little strange that Draco and Severus were so accepting of the situation, but then I took into consideration Slytherin logic.  I can totally see why they would react this way.  I'm anxious to see how Harry and especially Ron deal with this.  I'm not seeing Harry as being all that put out except for the fact of WHO they have to conceive with.  Ron, on the other hand, I see being very hot headed and screwing up royally when he hears Hermione's decision.  He's already shown a great deal of arrogance, I think, and his temper has already shown where his priorities are with Ginny and Draco.  His sister can die a horrible death if Draco Malfoy has to have anything to do with it.I'm very anxious to see where this goes.  I can't wait to see how the relationships evolve.   

Excellent start!  This has to be tough for both Hermione & Ginny.  Apart from an imminent death hanging over their heads, they both are in love/have feelings for one man but have to have a baby with another.  That aside, will we see Ron go ballistic and Hermione slap him down? (one of my not-so-guilty pleasures) :)

Right-O!  This is shaping up to be a great emotional discovery story.  (Had to agree with SW69, lol)  Let's see, we have one snarky Potions man, one confused and weepy Know-it-All,  one conceited-though-interested ex-slytherin prince and one cheeky-equally- ill fated Weaselette.  Good ingredients to make a smashing story, I'd say.Looking forward to the next installement.  Cheers!
