Severus has been running from himself for years. What happens when his pain catches up with him in the form of the new Potions teacher, Hermione Granger? My response to the 8th Prompt of Potter Place's Winter Challenge.

I'm 22, happily unmarried and happily enrolled in the University of my somewhat limited choice... I read constantly and write whenever I have the chance to do so. I sing, I work, I sleep, and I enjoy bickering with my awesome family. That is all.
PS: DMHP. Always.

Oh dear, where's the rest of the story?I like this so far--their interactions are so good. Updating this would be a great Christmas present for your readers....
Hi SoulBound,I can't help but nag: are you ever going to continue this wonderful story?
Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)
*grins* Yes, I am. I'm tackling things I have to get done one by one, and this is high on the list. Just keep your eyes out for an update, and hopefully the wait won't be too much longer. :-) Thanks for reviewing!
Aargh. I missed the little 'NO' next to the word 'Completed'. This was going so well, and I would love to see more.
Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)
Ah, I hate it when I do that (I only read completed stories myself if I can help it). But do rest assured that this story has not been abandoned, just put on hold until I get the ones that have been waiting for an update for longer up to date. Thanks for reviewing!

I am sure that though they seem to be on the right path things will once again go south. I am happy to see Severus is will to try. Please continue. Irish
Ah, I have reached the end of what has been posted. I admit I have read it before and neglected to leave a review (my bad). I am hoping that you will now continue. I beg of you please, please, please.....I am a bibliophile and must have the end of my story. Do not torture me please. Irish

Again, you continue to develop Severus' character admirably. I do believe that he truly would feel this way. Please continue! Irish
I believe that you have truly grasped the Hell that Severus lives in. Please continue. Irish
Please tell me that you are going to finish this story and not leave me hanging. I very much enjoy your develpment of Severus' character. He is socially repressed and Hermione is a chatterbox ( I so relate to her)! Irish
Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)
I definitely plan on finishing it. I have limited time right now because I'm right in the middle of a move, and so what writing time I have goes to my other WIP that's been waiting longer than this one for an update, but as soon as things settle down with real life, I'll have more time for writing, and this story is first on my list to be worked on. :) Thanks! I'm glad you like it and grateful that you reviewed!

Please let me know when this is added to!
More soon please..
An interesting story so far. Well done.
I really enjoy this story and hope you will gift us with another chapter soon. Very Well Written!
I am really enjoying your story. I love your take on both characters (Hermione can indeed be a 'right pest' sometimes). I wonder if Snape's feeling of guilt will play a part again. In any case I think the Christmas party at the Burrow will be interesting. Can't wait to read more
Personally I think it was in character with Hermione. I always thought she was a bit of a bulldog with a favorite shoe when it came to her pet projects. no pun intended. She can be so hard headed. It comes with being right so often that you soon see yourself as infalible. Plus, she's so bossy with the boys in cannon that I can see her being that way as an adult. Anywho funny stuff and can't wait to read more.
Many smiles and hopes for an update.
I'm of the opinion that should Severus Snape survive the demise of Voldemort, he would be inclined to "end it all" from overwhelming guilt and despair. Having to deal with Hermione as she behaves in this story would be sure to push him over the edge into suicide. Either that, or an Unforgiveable or 3. But let's see where you take this.
I'm really, really enjoying this story. I love the banter back and forth between Hermione and Severus. Looking forward to the next chapter.
this was an excellant chapter and boy, she sure was "pesky" and I do see a recipe for disaster ahead
Ah, good old Humble Pie. Sit Cad hates the stuff. I've been trying to get him to eat some for years; he won't go near it...
My, my. Sir Cat is of the opinion that this party will prove to be trouble, but that to refuse to go based on this fact alone would be cowardly. Therefore, Severus must attend, no matter how it will turn out.
Great story so far. Looking forward to the next part.
Sir Catty tole me that he was there and saw the whole thing on the tower, and it wasn't the memory of Dumbledore that drove Severus away; it was a swarming pack of hornets! I would have run too! Well, Sir Cad would have stayed, but that's only because he can't get stung, as he's a portrait....
Poor Severus. The girl is certainly going to make a fool of him. I fear that Saint Potter (did you know he turned my son down?) will likely make a scene. I suppose I shall have to be available to pick up the pieces. :)
Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)
Saint Potter turned your son down -- with all the sexy blond hair and generally badass attitude? For shame! I shall have to give him a talking to to explain how proper men behave when badass blonds proposition them.
