I'm 22, happily unmarried and happily enrolled in the University of my somewhat limited choice... I read constantly and write whenever I have the chance to do so. I sing, I work, I sleep, and I enjoy bickering with my awesome family. That is all.

PS: DMHP.  Always.

Response from Kailin (Reviewer)

Thanks for the kind words.  Looks like we'll be finding out The Answer to everyone's question come July 21, won't we? *hopping around with anticipatory drool*

Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)

Yep, though for me, it's not a question of is he good or not, it's a question of is JKR going to destroy me by killing him or not.... lol

I like how you are exploring Snape’s personal turmoil and struggle to steal deal with all of the things that have happened to him and by his own hand. A life examined can be a painful one.

But he is still cruel beyond reason.

This is my favorite sentence.

“For three years, he’d slowly let himself live as normal a life as he could. He taught, he snapped at everyone in close proximity, and occasionally, he let himself smile at something clever.”

Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)

Thanks for reading and reviewing.  It's always nice when someone points out a particular part they liked, so thank you!

I like the story so far (reading from Snape's POV) and could definitely see him being this nasty and thinking this way about her, life, and Harry.I was glad when she finally started telling him off. I thought it was a long time in coming. She's usually quick to give a piece of her mind (slapping Draco, hexing Ron), so I felt much better about that. I also sort of wished she'd have been a bit more angry with him when reflecting on what had happened/had been happening. However, I can see whereas she'd be confused. Looking forward to more.

Response from Soul Bound (Author of A Living Hell)

It felt good for her to finally let him have it.  I could have done it sooner and more viciously, but I wanted her to maintain the higher moral ground. Thanks!
