Reviews for Snape, A History
This story was a joy to read. I looked forward to each chapter. Thank you!
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
You're quite welcome!
Okay. I cried. Mainly because it's over.Considering that this was not a dark story, this was the most believable, reasonable, pragmatic Snape/Granger story I think I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Everything about it was so right and perfectly acceptable. The day to day interaction between characters was pleasant. The pacing was wonderful, the dialogue superb.Thank you for writing something that I have enjoyed very much.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
You're very welcome, but I'm sorry that I made you cry! I really, really appreciate your reading and reviewing.
Bouhouhou it's over. And practically without warning. that was a so good story and I'm so sad it's already finished. I'd like to thank you for the wonderful weeks I've passed with you. Maybe we'll have the pleasure to read you soon.

You're welcome! Thanks for reading.
Sweet, sugary, fluffy. Thank you, Kailin, for giving Hermione her book after you've given her a perfect proposal from her perfect partner. This chapter was a bit more explanatory than strictly necessary, yet most of the time it flew smoothly as the rest of the story. In conclusion, this has been a wonderful ride with excellent characters and charming plot. I enjoyed it very much.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
You're very welcome! Thank you for faithfully reading.
Oh thank you for the epilogue. This put the icing on the chocalatey goodness that is this story.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Since I'm a chocoholic, I wouldn't have it any other way!
Now that this is done I'm going to go back and re-read it. It's always hard to put the story together when there is one chapter at a time. But I will say that it was worth the wait!!!! What a great end to the story.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Trust me, it's equally hard to post chapters on 4 different sites at different times! Thanks for reading.
Ahhh! The end of a perfectly lovely story... it was fun while it lasted and I hope we get to see more stories from your pen. *Bows* Cheers!
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)

Awww. Honestly, I've never read such a "Snapeish" marriage proposal. I love this fic!
Thank you for writing this beautiful story.

Thanks! One more chapter to go.
Holy balls. I did not expect that. Once again, lovely chapter!
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
A little surprise there, huh? Thanks for reading! One more chapter still to go.
I can't believe this story is done.
It makes me all warm and fuzzy considering if they ended up with one child or a set of twins the first time around.
You created a wonderful story. Thank you so much. Waiting for more.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
One more chapter coming...
I have to say how much I enjoyed this! Very good work!
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Thanks. One more chapter to go.
Ooooohhhh mmmmyyyyy GOD! That was an eye opener! Here I was, reading quietly, feeling slightly sleepy from my nightshift.... and BAM! He offers her marriage! Didn't quite see that one come along. Great stuff, really! Will we be seeing more soon? Hope so. *big grin*
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
One more chapter. Glad I caught you unawares!
that was the coolest sort of proposal thingy i have ever heard of, and I just love it, its was almost as good as the one i once read where he told her she was marrying him and that was that!
update soon ok
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
I just can't imagine Severus on bended knee - thus the backwards sort of proposal. Thanks for reading.
Completed? Now? Odd way to end a story. but I did like it. A fun read.Red
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Nope - one more chapter in the queue!
Words fail me...no, really...the first thing that came into my head was not printable and the second was probably around the same...He WANTS children with Hermione? Wow, don't think she needs the words really...he wants to make a commitment, and have children with her. I am LOVING this story and can't wait to read more.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Just when you thought Snape was utterly predictable...
*CLUMP* LoL I just fell out of my chair with that last line from Severus: “Then I choose to do so after benefit of marriage. If you think I spent all those years patrolling the corridors of Hogwarts to keep the teen birth rate at from rising sky-high for nothing, then you obviously don’t know me very well. I have a reputation to consider. We will select rings tomorrow."
And just like that, it's done! I love it!
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Thanks so much! It was either get-it-over-with-quick or write another 30 chapters while he dithers and dawdles...
I love the pacing of this story, it's so natural. A few steps forward, a few back. The book, their relationship, the families and friends, the wizarding world at large -- you've handled it all very deflt and given us a nuanced piece of work. I enjoy the way you've depicted their relationship -- it's complicated, prickly, affectionate, a bit at arms-length -- very real.
Response from maegwen (Reviewer)
That should be "you've handled it all deftly" ... but my brain goes faster than my hands sometimes. :)
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Thanks! I appreciate your comments - and your reading!
Now, I've been reading this at top speed. Revealing Snape's History and relishing in your thorough search for plausible justifications in the best editorials around. Oh my, I've enjoyed the ride! This time, I must confess though. I stumbled across your story when it ended in Toulouse and it did not grab my attention back then. Now? Now! Where do they go from there? I long for more excellent discussions and wonderful development.?
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
More fun on the way. Thanks for reading!

Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this. I hope you'll update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I really appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing the story. You're really taking your time to develop the relationship between the two characters. Realistic
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
Thank you for reading and reviewing. Yes, it takes a while with those two, doesn't it?
Silly Hermione. Of course he said something--he said "I hope you're satisfied with the Plaid Pony." In other words, he wants to have dinner(s) with you again. *shakes head* So clever in some ways, so utterly clueless in others. You need a gaggle of girlfriends to set you straight, Herms.
Response from Kailin (Author of Snape, A History)
There are many different types of intelligence, aren't there? Poor Hermione - she only has Ginny to try to get her up to speed.
