Although I am not usually a fan of darker fics this one has me hooked. I look forward to reading more.

. Darker fics are scary to write - touching on things that are uncomfortable (at best), and a long unfolding before things can resolve... but resolve they will, I promise. I appreciate your taking the time to leave me a review - I'm submitting two more chapters this weekend and I hope you enjoy them. Cheers! ~ Ari
Hmmm... Hehehe. I've so many theories floating around after skimming this over again. Right then. Let's have another chapter. :)
I've been swamped with things lately and am just catching up. I like the little ghost. She's a nice touch, and I feel a little sorry for her, feeling she fits in because she's not noticed just like at home. Pitiful.Well, I don't know what to think. I want to say that Hermione made a Horcrux when she killed Voldemort (out of... herserlf maybe?) and broke her wand so they couldn't trace the spell. But I'm not certain about that or even what she made a Horcrux with or why. And I've no idea what Ginny Weasley has to do with things. :)
I can't quite pin down Slughorn's connection to this whole thing. A great mystery. I am eagerly awaiting your next chapter.
Ah, at last a few answers. This is really fascinating (sheesh, I sound like Spock...)Terrific story so far.
Response from Ariadne AWS (Author of No Loyalty in the Moonlight)
Hi, Orm Irian! *laughs delightedly at your Spock reference* I'm glad you're enjoying the story - I'll be submitting the next two chapters this weekend (real life intervened for a while) - I hope you enjoy them... Cheers! ~ Ari
The ghost adds so much to the haunted atmosphere. It reminds me of places where great tragedies occur, where the spirits remain behind, unable, or unwilling, to move on.
Darkness may be my talent, but you bring the power of emotion and beautiful imagery to the table.
There is so much more in what is not said and that is the real attraction. I'll say it again: This writing style is like pulling a thin veil over a painful tragedy. Any reader who isn't seized by the power and emotion is simply heartless.
I love this chapter for all the wrong reasons (leather) and will always search for words with you. Always. :)
Cinematic writing at its best. It's as if the castle itself is holding its breath. The somber tone is real and settles into the reader's soul, making itself at home.
You paint a picture of turbulant energy, waiting to tell its story with the wind-tossed trees as its voice.
Poor Hermione, I expected she was the one in your story who Killed Voldiepants, but to create a horcurx...
I well I am really liking how you give just enough to make me think i know whats going on, but then for some reason I still have no clue.
update soon, I'd like to know if what i'm thinking is correct...lol

You prove to be a real author of detective stories. So many mysteries...
I am enthralled with this! I just went through it start to this chapter and the work is great. Dark! Hermione is not written nearly enough and I love the angle you have here. Well done, can't wait for more.

Another well written and fabulous chapter. I must admit that I am stumped as to exactly what is going on with Hermione. I look forward to the next update so that I may get closer to the answer.

I enjoyed the inner turmoil she had in this one. Looks like some ice is melting... somewhat. I still have no good guesses about all the other little details. *waits to see*
Response from Ariadne AWS (Author of No Loyalty in the Moonlight)
Thanks, Southern! Little bit of ice melting, indeed... I'll be sending y'all two more chapters this weekend (it is so good to be home! *laughs) - I hope you enjoy them... Cheers! ~ Ari
Wow! This story is so incredible. I'm really anxious for more chapters as I try to figure it all out. And I really like the fact that Hermione is now the one with all the rage, while Severus has worked through his. I quite like him now; he's settled in quite a comfortable place. Excellent work!

! I blush at your compliments... The emotions and thoughts of survivors are fascinating to work with. I'll be submitting the next two chapters this weekend; I hope you enjoy them! Cheers! ~ Ari
Your story is really novel--I can't even guess where it's going. The cryptic dreams and the interposition of scenes with Slughorn MUST be meaningful--but I can't figure out the significance. Frustrating--but very engrossing at the same time. The hints/clues give me all sorts of ideas, but never seem to come together to make a whole. Really well done! Please don't keep us hanging for too long before you have Snape let us in on what's going on.
I love this story so far, and I'm glad I didn't notice it before itw as finished, I don't think I could stand the suspense. The last part of this chapter gave me goosebumps!
