Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

This fic is developing into a truly magnificent work. The time jumps and changes of perspective are beautifully written with great dialogue and some incredible character interaction/dialogue. I wait in eager anticipation for the next chapter! Blessings ; )X

You are very kind. Thank you.
Oh dear. I didn't notice that the story wasn't finished. I suppose it's been abandoned? I do wish you'd completed it - although tbh I can't really see a happy ending for this story - Hermione would have to be insane to stay with him after a betrayal like that even if she got rid of the damn rings.
Fantastic !
Very interesting chapter. I'm a bit worried about Hermione, though. I do hope things work out to a happy ending for her in the end. ~The Mistress
whooo boy. Porn WITH plot is irresistable--must devour it like a box of chocolates *snarf* Write On!!!
HOOOOOT!!! HOT! SO SO HOT.yup, that means i love it...
Interesting. You have my attention.

Thank you. I hope I keep it!
Absolutely loving how this is playing out! You've mangaged to impart this sense of mysterious moodiness into the story that's awesome.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Thank you. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
Well, I'm not caught up. I wasn't going to read this story because I didn't care much for the first chapter--just personal preferences. But after I went through this chapter in queue, I really enjoyed this part--the "caring" he seems to feel for her, the attraction they share, and the other stuff. It just makes me wonder what goes wrong. Why does he ending forcing the three B's on her if she doesn't like it? I dunno. I know. I guess I'll have to read to find out. I promise to try. :) I'll skim if I have to. Teehee. You know how I am about those things. Excellent way with words as usual though.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Thank you Southern - hope you keep reading - there's a lot more to this story than the three Bs! Next chappie in the queue.
wow what a start
That is the singlemost sick thing he could have done to her! She can't even be aware enough to kill him for it. I hope someone else does.

Time will tell.Thank you for reviewing
Oh My God. Those rings...what has Severus done? This story is amazing and beautiful but I'm also horrified. This is one of the best fics because I'M SO HORRIFIED. It's almost like seeing ahead to the future...the trainwreck...knowing it's coming but unable to stop it. Wow. Quite complex. Your Severus is really a multi-faceted character and dare I say- somewhat evil? At least the rings are evil...Sigh. poor hermione. I thought perhaps she could be happy. I wondered why she was SO FRICKIN OBEDIENT. Now I know. She is enslaved and doesn't even know it....abused and doesn't realize it. So sad.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
What has he done indeed. I don't think he's truly evil, just afraid of losing what he has. As for the rings... more about them in the next chapter.Yes, Hermione walked right into that one, didn't she? Thanks for reviewing
Thought I'd drop a little review for a bit of nagging. Know your plate is pretty full, and I know it's not abandoned but still anticipating the next installment!
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
It's next on the list I promise. I've done about half a chapter but it still needs some tweaking. It's most definitely on my mind though, which is a start.
I think Hermione just made a big mistake calling in her wizard's debt. I hope this is something Severus will not resent her for. I'm looking forward to reading more of this story, and will be keeping an eye out for its update.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thank you for leaving a review.
Nice story, but I'm a bit confused. Why doesn't Hermione have so called maternal feelings? I gues maybe I missed something with all the past-present movement.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
No, you haven't missed anything, it has yet to be explained. It's a small part of the big picture.
Wow. Calling in that Wizard'd Debt is a problem. It has made their relationship inequitable (again) with Hermione in charge. Ouch. Great story!

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Ugghhh. I apparently started this story some time ago but only got a short way. Recently re-read to this point! Shewwww. Dying to know how how she has gotten to be how she is now and that the Weasleys apparently know something?!!!!!
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Thanks for giving it another try - there's lots more to come.
Response from Myst (Reviewer)
Don't get me wrong, I didn't stop reading it because I didn't like it. Not sure how I dropped the ball, unless I started it on a different site or something. I look forward to more.
Very good chapter. I like how she stood up to them, even if she did have to draw her courage from Snape. I really loved the way you portrayed Molly. I could see her thinking that, too. "Just wait till I see that little scarlet!!" ~snerk~
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Thank you Southern. Yes, typical red-head - go in all guns blazing without being in full possession of the facts lol! Molly is a very perceptive witch, though, for all that.
:) Hi! I've been reading this forever and have not left a review... but what Hermione did!!! The road to happiness is not built with demands and manipulations. But then, that's probably why you called this chapter The Road to Hell.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Well, thank you for leaving one now! I know that, and you know that - Hermione's about to find out for herself. Stay tuned for Severus' reaction!
Ok, wow. Scary. Severus' ring almost sounds like an addiction that managed to get completely out of control. If he truly loves Hermione, he's going to need to replace those rings with normal ones that allow for dialogue in their relationship. Otherwise, he's going to lose her in another way altogether.
This is a wonderful story and I am very glad to have found it again.

Oooh, the wince on my face when I read the end of this chapter... what has Hermione done now?Looking forward to more of this.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Not the best idea she's ever had, certainly. Thanks for leaving a review.
Gotta love Wizarding Debts. use them whenever u want something done without Imperio. hahaha.
Response from melusin (Author of Epiphany)
Indeed. I'd like to call in a few myself. Thanks for reviewing.

, I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Can't give away anything about the ending though :D
I love how you made the mirror a character. Very clever. It adds variety, not that this story needs it. I already loving it. :D
I cracked up here... ‘Yes, Har- I’m very pleased with you, Dobby.’That take on house-elf servitude is a new one, very interesting.
And I laughed out loud at the 'operation smurf' line.
That was a nice start. I like where this is going. I hope that by the end of the story, there is a blance of power. Hermione should get what she wants out of life as well.
