I don't know if it's the hormones or just your mad writing skills but this made me laugh and cry all in the span of time it took me to read this chapter. This story is one for the favorites list.

Thank you Hermione, for pointing out to Minerva that she should NOT be forcing Severus into a task that is both very personal and very public when he really, really doesn't want to do it. It's bad enough when Dumbledore insists on playing games with Severus's personal life because "he knows best," but Minerva doesn't have the knack. It's good to see someone stand up for Sev's independence for once, even if it's only briefly--in vain. As it always is, of course. Severus Snape must never be allowed the rights and freedom of an adult.

A fun chapter.  I enjoyed the Severus/Hermione conversations (typical of Severus, that he enjoys Hermione's bad mood /g/), and his backstory made excellent sense.

Hermione is worrying about her bum looking big, and Severus is worrying about letting his...admiration for said bum show. Nakkid Severus with antlers, don't say you've lost him, sift harder, that image can't be lost.  . Keep up the good work.
