Getting in touch with Granger while you don't want to be found is always a bad combination.. so I'm curious how long he'll be able to say anonymous.

Great update! Well, he has certainly opened up a can of worms, as my mom used to say. I like your backstory a lot -- the Prince-led coven in the Hebrides is a nice touch, and I love the idea of Severus coming clean with a Viennese anaylst. He may have to double up on sessions once Hermione starts corresponding in earnest

Good exposition. It is good to see that his self-acceptance has grown while his paranoia has lessened. His therapy was a good investment.

Indeed. I cannot imagine him living a contented life otherwise. I guess Harry Potter might need a few sessions too after the Dursleys and the whole Voldie-business.

oh now that was cruel to leave me hanging like that. I love how you gave Severus a new life while dealing with his hardships

I couldn't do otherwise, he truly deserves it, completely with good food and wine and a nice vista ;)

You are a wonderful author. I love and enjoy all stories. Thank you very much.
Cute story. I quite enjoyed the exchange of emails and watching their growing relationship. Additionally pleasant were the renewed friendships with the Malfoys. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you!
What a nice story! I especially like your reference to Colonel Brandon and his "fairer-haired and slightly heavier version" of Severus. Looking forward to reading the rest of this story!

Thank you for reviewing! I stumbled upon HP-fanfiction by reading a crossover-fic with Pride&Prejudice (Severus tries to clear some of the Netherfield ball - misunderstandings by adding veritaserum to the punch ... you can imagine ... and ends up staying in Regency times with Charlotte Lucas). Col Brandon I like more than Mr Darcy, and especially ARs portrayal of him.
I'm so happy I found this story. I completely love stories where the characters communicate a great deal via letters and such. Thanks for posting this. The pacing was nice, and I loved the little things you added to "make it real" for us (such as the end of the world comment by Severus).

Really enjoying this scenery and emotion.Severus' box is it a Victorian Wardian case? the computer eats the review after three lines, so I cannot send a long review, drat.
Just lovely!
Even though there are a few stories that carry on past the epilogue, you've made it quite clear that this is The End. But I just noticed that you haven't actually marked this story as completed. You should do so, since there are some readers who won't read works in progress and the change of status may add them to your throngs of admirers!

Will do right now, thank you!
So precious and beautiful, Minerva! You have a gift for storytelling dear, and we are very lucky fangirls that you have chosen to share it with us! Thank you!

Thank you! (blushing)
It sounds as if Hermione has been an apt pupil when it comes to Severus's temperament and how best to deal with it. Thanks for sharing.
This is perfect! They both read each other well, they still have solid friends and careers, and now they're going to make little know-it-alls. I wondered if she was already pregnant since she got sick on his soes.THANK YOU for a lovely ficlet!

She puked (between tow cars) when she realised Zelko was Severus, who later embellished the story with puked-on shoes ...

Then at least the first child would not be Severus' ... Thank you!

??? I thought the shoes incident was fairly recent, perhaps a few months before the epilogue?
Very nice indeed. You describe a really lovely life, and I'm sure they'll be able to deal with the pressures of children on their sex life, given what efficient and intense people they are. The only thing I can think of that might have improved this (we're asked for constructive criticism, after all) was some rounding off of the "Being Muggle-born" theme that you started with--I thought that idea that Muggle assumptions could limit or distort a witch's or wizard's choices was such a great concept; it might have been nice to show that Hermione had completely overcome it, and also remind us at the end of the story of the compassionate admission that brought them together.

Thank you for your long review. You are absolutely right. I am very much an impulsive writer and therefore would never start posting an unfinished story, because I fear I do not posess the tools to overcome a dry spell. A situation pops into my head and goes from there, usually it is very clear to me how the characters will act and react. With BM it was Zelko cooking and listening, a vague idea of a courtship via e-mail and a not-too-drawn-out-happy-end. I do not plan chapters but write on and hope the initial picture (and accompagnying feeling) is strong enough to carry the story through. Coming back to the BM-theme would have rounded up the story wonderfully indeed. I will try to incorporate the thought in the future.
What a great ending for them. So relaxed and peaceful ... yes, they'd better enjoy themselves before the kids come. :)
Epitome of ladylike manners and laughing like a hyena are not traits one associates with each other. *grin* Thank you for a joyful reading experience. ^_^
Thank you for a wonderful story, with a lovely ending.
Awww... a perfect ending for a lovely fic. Thank you for posting.

Wonderful ending. I love how he has embellished Hermione realizing who he was. Isn't that so typical to find a tale becoming taller and taller with each telling? And poor Hermione took it reasonably well. I just loved his obtuse way of proposing marriage to her. So very Severus. Very well done story. And thank goodness he was listening to the wireless that night.
What a beautiful chapter. I laughed and I cried happy tears for them, they have both found their place in life.
Loved this story I can't wait for your next great adventure.
Wonderful story!
I love this ending. Thanks.
I really love the Severus who put in the effort to become "tanned and relaxed." Therapy is not easy but it can be helpful to break those chains.
