I'm a dabbler in poetry and fiction, and I simply adore Severus Snape and my favorite ship is SS/HG. I love to read and travel and fanfiction is my escape from the mundane!!

Excellect story. A real gem to find.

Thank you so much!! I am glad you enjoyed my story!!
Not a bad story but it feels like sections are missing. Like how did Hermione and Severus fall in love after being married? How did Draco and Hermione react to seeing each other again? Sections just seemed disjointed at times.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.
I found this story yesterday while hunting for a good SS HG fic. I am so pleased I did as it had me captivated from beginning to its fitting ending. I literally could not put it down and read it in one long go.
I was kept interested and could not guess its conclusion but hoped it was to be a happy one. A lot of surprises along the way that had me gasping with horror or crying with laughter. I did like how HG put HP in his place. Shakes head at the spoilt brat Potter. Least Ron did catch on much quicker and came up with a few good ideas.
The battle was superbly written and was so glad when Lord V was vanquished for good.
Count his review as one golden review for all the other chapters. HG and SS went through a lot before they found their true love and happy ever after. So nice to see Eileen Severus ' mother in this too.
Claps hands, thanks so much for writing and sharing.

...and sometimes the patterns in stained glass shards were the most beautiful of all. This is so true, Shell. "That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger," and it is by virtue of our struggles that life becomes all the more precious. Who among us hasn't learned to be humbly grateful after a sad and difficult time has been survived?I'm so glad that Lucius and Draco were reunited. It would be too sad to think of either of them having to be alone after the loss of a wife and mother. Severus' and Hermione's permanent hand-fasting was simple but beautiful, and to know that they had two more children after Alexander made me smile. Knowing who their parents are, I'm sure that Alexander, Serenity, and Corinna (she of the bushy hair and know-it-allness) gave Severus and Hermione a run for their money as they grew up.I also love the idea that the ones who had gone before could return to the Vale to spend time with their friends who loved them and who were loved by them.Thank you for this wonderful story of strife and misery that is ultimately conquered by faith and love. Well done!Beth

Beautiful ceremony, although it caused Severus pain.
