I'm a dabbler in poetry and fiction, and I simply adore Severus Snape and my favorite ship is SS/HG. I love to read and travel and fanfiction is my escape from the mundane!!

Ha! Barty again. Thought Mad Eye was a bit paranoid, even for him. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
LOL. Mad-Eye isn't quite as vigilant as he thinks he is!
That child is going to be something special! :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Oh yes, a merging of two very powerful lines, the next Knight. He is going to be something else.. :)
Glad that misunderstadning was cleared up quickly. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
They are learning some communication skills at last!
What a place to leave it! :0
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
:) I got kinda cliffy happy in this story!
At last, some progress on the ladies. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Hopefully, everything will be answered by the end! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
Wonder what the salve was, and why they used it? :0
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Easier to manipulate someone who is under the influence... and it is past of a dark spell...
Well, I don't even have a guess as to who is in the cottage. I know Hermione didn't want to be coddled, but she needed it, and I kind of like him taking care of her. I liked this:"I feel like I need to do something to prove that this isn't a dream, that we're both here and safe."I'm so glad that the Snapes are going to make things permanent. Not that I ever had any doubt. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Absolutely! We couldn't have our two faves parting ways... Last chapter is in the queue!
Yay, it's finally over! Well, Voldemort, not the story, LOL. It was sad to lose Luna and Alice, but it appears they are just moving on to their next grand adventure. It was so nice that Alice could have a moment with Neville.Libraries? I think Hermione will make herself right at home. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Oh yes, what more could Hermione ask for than Severus in her bed and multiple libraries at her disposal...
Hmm, so she's one of the blood, and he's the Knight. Interesting. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thank you! I always thought Severus would make a great knight!
Wish those boys would shut the hell up and let Snape get on with the story! :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
They do tend to run their mouths a bit... :)
I like the way you started with Hermione and Severus already together with a baby, then began the story. :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thank you, I had that original bit as just a one-shot, but it kept gnawing at me, so voila - bunches of chapters!
They walked up the steps, through the front door and Severus led Hermione to the small kitchen. "Sit, and I will get you a cup of tea. And please stay calm; this is going to be a long story... "Before Hermione could answer, the cottage's occupant walked through the door. "Oh, thank Merlin, you survived... I was... Why is she here?"Hermione just stared in shock as Severus demanded silence and then started his explanation. My question is where is this cottage and who is the cottage's occupant? And I'm so happy that Severus and Hermione will make their vows permanent. Having their friends with them at the Vale as they speak their vows will be wonderful. You have really left me with some questions about the things to come, and I'm looking forward to your next update!Hugs, Beth

Couldn't resist one more cliffy, just for you!! Last chapter in the queue and we will be all wrapped up! I hope! :)
But who was in the cottage? Oooh, you evil authoress you!
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Well, you know I couldn't resist ONE more cliffhanger!! Last chapter is in the queue! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
Really lovely moments with Hermione and Severus, him taking care of her was all very sweet.
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thanks so much! She certainly deserves a bit of TLC after everything - he does too! Last chapter in coming! Thanks for the reviews!
I loved seeing Voldemort and Greyback getting what they deserved. Well done! But the loss of Remus, Luna, and Alice was such a sad thing. At least Neville got to speak to his mum before she died.I was so happy when Nimue showed them that their dedication, determination, and strength had brought Camelot back. Who was that man on the top of the tower? Could it be Arthur? Maybe I'm being too fanciful, but wouldn't it be great if it were? The libraries are going to keep all of them occupied for many years. LOL! Now I'm off to the next chapter to see what happens next!Beth
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
What better reward for Sev and Hermione than multiple libraries at their disposal! Enjoy the next!
For some reason, this chapter felt a little off to me, but I couldn't tell you why. It's wonderfully written and the pacing is tight, while the characters seem true to the story line. I don't know. Maybe it's the letdown from writing almost non-stop for the last 30 evenings and still not having my own story finished (although I do have almost 55,000 words written). Excellent lemons, by the way. Lemon meringue pie, anyone? ^_^
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
I always hate coming to the end of a story! Thanks so much for all the cheerleading! Can't wait to read more from you... I know you will get your finished soon!!
Oh I guessed Andromeda correctly but never thought of Alice. Neville is goint be thrilled. I love this story with all its twists and turns. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thank you so much! More is on the way... should be getting exciting now!
Why Andromeda and not Narcissa? And if Andromeda is a Lady of the Vale, would not Tonks be one by extension? I'm ready to punch Harry in the mouth for the horrid horrid things he's said about Hermione! I don't like him at all right now.
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
There is only one Lady in each line at any given time and it is always the eldest daughter of the line - like Severus is the eldest son. Yes, Tonks will be the Lady of her line when Andromeda passes on. (I realize I took liberties, because Andromeda isn't the oldest sister in canon, but it wouldn't have done me any good to have Mad Bella be the Lady!) Harry tends to speak first, engage his little brain later... More soon.
I am so into this story! You have managed to capture the magic of Harry Potter and the mystic magic of Camelot and Arthur and twisted them all up into an amazing tale! I cannot wait for more and I apologize for not reviewing earlier... 2 kids... you know makes it hard to do anything for more than a minute at a time. LOL. Looking forward to more! :)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Having two of my own, I well understand trying to find time to do anything! Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so glad you are liking my tale... there is more on the way.
Excellent chapter!!! Harry needs therapy or sedatives, he just can't lay off Hermione and Severus, can he? I was totally shocked and pleased that Alice was the mystery Lady, I hope Neville is going to be pleased as well! Loving every new installment. Well done!!! :D
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thank you! Harry needs a time out or two! He just can't NOT be the hero and he can't give Severus credit for anything. Poor Alicce never had a chance in canon, so I thought she would be ideal for my scenario! More coming...
Excellent. Harry is being so awful. I hope he gets it together! I look forward to more!
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Don't worry, Harry will figure it out soon enough... More is in the queue! Good stuff, too!
Yay! I LOOOOOOOOVE that you used Alice!!! I'm guessing the Calling helped her regain her mind... very cool! And, I can totally buy Andromeda and Bellatrix being twins -- Harry mistook Andi for Bella when he first met her, after all! (I'm glad Harry's finally a bit abashed at his treatment of Hermione, too!)
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
I thought Alice deserved another shot at her destiny, rather than just being in hospital. It should truly get interesting from her on out! Andromeda isn't actually the oldest in canon, but I thought she would be the perfect choice if she was, so I fudged a bit! And the resemblance helped out too! Next chapter is up and waiting in the queue...
An interesting twist on canon. I can't wait to read more. Hurry up, please? I promise I'm not playing hooky from NaNoWriMo and the "Damsels & Dragons" sequel. ^_^
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
LOL - you better not be playing hooky! Get at that computer and write! More as soon as it goes through the queue, we are moving on to the end...
I am so happy to see a new chapter! This story gets better and better, and I like the King Arthur tie in. It never made sense to me, Guinevere falling for Lancelot. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
Thank you! I am glad you liked my theory on why Guinevere fell for Lancelot. NOthing like jealousy to collapse a kingdom!
Totally trilled to see another update. You were brilliant, I would never have guessed that Alice were the fourth Lady. For Harry, well I guess it is no surprice that I want to smack his head so hard that he would see stars until he is old and grey, what a jackass. Rather pleasantly surpriced to see that Ron had better control over his feelings and the mental capasity to see that Harry were close to going mental, that is the kind of Ron I could like. I am as always looking forward for more:))
Response from sandlapper (Author of Stained Glass Shards)
It's funny because normally, I am the anti-Ron, but for some reason, this time HE was the voice of reason! Harry just can't let things go at all. Glad you are happy with the new update, there is more to come!
