LOL, you'll have to see. I think he realized that he was a buffoon, which is a step up for him. Old habits die hard. (LOL, die.) Even when he's found so much peace in the afterlife, he's still a bit of an insecure man.

One can only hope, as the alternative would not be very pretty.
I hope she has come to realize that she will have to be the emotional adult in their relationship, for some time. Until he learns what a life wtihout fear and abuse really is. As well what really to love someone is all about. Running away, or pushing someone away never solves anything, as he realizes when it's too late. But it seems it may not be too late just as yet.I can't wait to see what she'll do now that she has him in her clutches.Lovely, indeed.Thank you once again for sharing~

What a risk! I know he trusts Hermione but she can't be the one to do the spell on her own, so it's almost like a 75/25 percent chance it will work. That might be good odds for the Superbowl (Go Steelers!) but with one's soul for all eternity? It's got to be a tough decision!

wow, the implications of this are rather overwhelming! I mean if other people found out about it, it could become problematic, I would think. LOL. Excellent story and I hope Severus gets whatever he wants. It's not fair he's had pretty much all misery in his existence.

I agree with you about Severus. He needs something good to live for. As for the implications, they are overwhelming and it definitely could be problematic.
I'm not a religious woman, but I'll pray rosaries to get him back to life with her!

That would be great, for a while. I don't think she'd be happy in the long run. Well, Severus could make up for a lot of lost career goals. I guess it has been like a long first date. But they've gotten to know each other pretty well.

I'm so glad you're loving this! As you can see, I'm not one to leave Severus 'truly' dead for long.
This really has my interest. I find the idea of portraits fascinating for some reason. I can't wait to see how portrait Snape reacts to his creation. I love your little details which include canon and make it so much more credible - like visiting the Creevey home for a photograph.
