I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

It getting 'steamy' in the potions class room..... hehe
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Sure is! Now they can work on a real relationship.
But what is he made of? Is he solid paint or does he have internal organs? Will he age? Can his appearance ever change? Is he alive? Can he die?All of the "life-like" elements he has demonstrated up to this point were powers of the soul, not the flesh. Does he regain the powers of the flesh or is he simply a soul in an animated package, existing outside of the painted world?
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Good question. The spell that DiGregorio and Hermione used reformed his body. He's real. Flesh and bone, as it were.
a grand entrance to end all grand entrances! love it, my deb. you sooo rule and reign! mucho smoochies
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
It was rather fantastic, wasn't it? TY!!! smoochies right back atcha!
*squee* I knew he would be back. I am ridiculously happy and it promises to last all day long. Now theuycan do what living people do: getting married and having babies (after a suitable exercicing time of course) *huge grin*
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Yes, they can definitely do that, but there are a couple of other things to work out first. So glad I made you happy all day long.
Nicely done! Looking forward to the rest.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thank you!!
Those poor students will have heard tales about the dreaded Professor Snape. Do give him the Potions position back! Muhahaha! ;)
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
They will. And they have 'interacted' with him as a portrait... meaning going to the opposite end of the hallway where he is located. I think he'd like tormenting the kids, but that's about it, though.
OH MY...THANK YOU for returning Severus to Hermione alive and well...I am in tears!!! Good tears, HAPPY TEARS!!! This is wonderful!!! Can't wait for another chapter....WHOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! WELL DONE!!!! Best story i've read in quite a long time!!!THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! ~SIGH~
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
I'm flattered! Thank you so much! I'm really glad you are enjoying it and are so ecstatic about Severus' return.
I think that was the best word he ever taught her...incorrigible. Insolent, too.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Both are wonderful, and Hermione will not stop using incorrigible. It's just too fitting.
Wonderful! I'm so glad the spell worked.I'm also glad the staff acted in an honorable fashion. My guess is that Rita Skeeter won't be so kind. Will she be the one to break the story? Will he even grant her an interview? Lord knows what she will write either way!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Well, Hermione may have blabbed a bit too much to the kids. They all have parents, and I'm sure the owls are flying right about now.
that was fun! I'm so glad it worked!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
LOL, me too!
Poor Severus! I can't wait to read what happens!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
More to come soon. Hopefully he'll get out of his funk, huh?
Sounds positive. :)
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Positive definitely, but can it work????
Ooo, evil cliffie! Bad Deb! :P
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Sorry! Hangs head. At least the next chappie is right there for you.
Hope no students came past that painting while the Headmistress was baithing! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Or the former Headmaster for that matter. Imagine the young minds that could be destroyed... or... inspired.
I knew it!! There is a way to make Severus come back. The big question is: if they manage it, does that mean they can make anyone with a magical portrait live again?
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Well, that would be kind of scary, don't you think? I believe if this does work, it will be the biggest secret since the Elder wand.
*SQUEEE* In saying that, I can tell truthfully tell you I am not the *squee* kind of girl. In retrospect the moment called for it. *giggle* I am so delighted in the direction that you are taking this. My excitement it mounting. What a lovely body of work you have here. I look forward to the next chapter.Thank you again for sharing~

. I'm glad I got a squee out of a non-squee girl. :D That's awesome. I'm also glad you're liking this. I'm a hopeful sort, so hopefully Hermione and Franco can use their gifts to get Severus out of a flat situation. Bwahahaha
Oh mi! i hope Hermione gets Severus to be alive and well! thank you for the update!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
That is definitely the goal, but we can't always promise good results.
Poor Severus, I wish he'd kept her there for a while...Please, Please let them find the answer and bring Severus back to life...This is excellent, and I can't wait to see what happens next...Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thanks,
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
. Yes, I think Severus should have been selfish and kept her with him. But, he's a bit too honorable to do that.
it has something to do with strong emotions, right? totally faboo story, my deb! mucho mega smoochiesps i'm baaaack!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Good guess! All will be revealed in the next chapter.

Aaacckkk! you can't stop there! Okay, I know you did but oh my I can't wait until you update again! Fantastic.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
I know, I'm sorry. More soon.
oh nooo! What's going to HAPPEN? Oh wait, but if he knows how he brought her in and how to get her out doesn't that mean he can bring her in any time he likes?
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Well, possibly, but will that be satisfying for them? More to come!
LOL. Oh dear. Poor Hermione.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
:( yes, things are a bit tough right now. But she's just as tough.

Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
LOL, yup. Not your average day for Hermione.
