I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

ooh fun! Poor Severus. Will nobody leave the poor man alone! LOL. If only he knew how much we adore him.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
I know! He's just not in the loop. He'd probably run for cover if he knew.
neither life nor death was fair.sad sad discovery.but at a very jubliant moment.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Indeed it is. Poor guy. Nothing ever really goes well for him.
I just started reading this fic tonight. It is wonderful. I've read other stories by you and I can see you growing as an author. Great Job!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Wow, thank you!!
You are evil. What a place to stop. Ah well, I suppose we writers enjoy a bit of tortue :)I'm glad they finally admitted how they felt.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
I am too, but really, things couldn't get worse for Severus. Sorry to leave everyone hanging. More soon.
Good Lord, what an evil cliffie you have left us with...I hope you will update this quickly....like TODAY!! LOLOL!!! Poor Severus...I hope Hermione refuses to leave for a bit, maybe stay with him another month or so!! LOL!!! I am so loving this story, thank you for the update...WELL DONE!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thank you!!! It is evil, and I'm sort of sorry. As for Hermione, do you think Severus will even give her a choice? Ah, to see what develops.
So what? So he knows how to send her back. Then he knows how to bring her back to the painted world as well. She can have her "real life" and then come back into a painted world with him.I think he imagines that she would not want to have a life as a commuter between worlds, but it seems to fit her personality -- you know that kind of house-elves, werewolves, centaurs, paintings, we are all equal.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
That is a viable solution, but I think he thinks she would feel... less of herself in the portraits. And he's a stubborn martyr-like guy too.
that was evil indeed. Can't wait to see how you will solve this
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Sorry. Things will move along. LOL, I know that says nothing. lol
*squee* Thank you so much!!! I didn't hope for this chapter until a few days. I'm in heaven, and dying to know what has crossed his mind while kissing her so passionately. *wicked smile*
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Yep, I got all motivated. Am going out of town, so next update will be in about 2 weeks. Sorry. Evil cliffie then long pause. Two strikes. Hopefully the next chapter will be worth the wait!
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
Hargh! I don't know if my heart will bear the wait. *wink*
God, you evil woman, how could you leave us like that?!?!?! This story is wonderful, I love it so much... I was afraid of falling into an impossible-love kind of story, which always leaves me feeling down, but I've got high hopes that this will lead to a lot more, even once Hermione's gone back to her world. Which will probably be soon, considering the evil cliffie you left us with. Keep it up, you're an amazing writer.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'm a sucker for happy endings, that's all I'm going to say. But for now, martyr Severus will take over, so you can imagine where that will leave him.
Yes, you are very, very evil... Nonetheless, great chapter!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thanks so much!
I'm glad they are becoming quite close. Are they going to ... you know, in the portraits?
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Well... this is PG-13, lol. But the next chapter should be illuminating.
Love it, love it, love it...Things seem to be getting better between them, Poor Severus, I know he will miss her when she goes back to the 'REAL' world.. I can't wait to see where you take the next chapter.. I hope things get a bit more cozy for our couple...Well done!!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Well, this is a romance. :) They have more adventures to come. Glad you're lovin it.
Love it, love it...The bowl of giant fruit, priceless... I hope that something else will happen that will once again force them together to become a bit more romantic..I can't wait...Looking forward to more..well done!!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thank you! Thought it would be fun to have the poor dears get a little messy.
Wonderful. wonderful..I am so loving this story..Poor Hermione, seasick..It will be very interesting to see what happens with her and Severus...I can't wait!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thanks so much! Poor Hermione indeed. She's going to be green for a little bit. More to come.
I like his discussion of the peace he felt in death; that those extreme passions that drove him mellowed somewhat into their unbroken counterparts. It is an interesting concept that all those ways in which we are broken, and in some cases very broken, now will be healed. It seems that we are so often driven to regrettable words and actions by our fears and our lusts. I wonder what it would be like to truly choose the words and actions we want to choose -- and have no regrets, only peace.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
You are so right about regrettable words. Our passions often make us say things in the heat of the moment that we regret. We always have the choice, but not always the self-control to keep our words kind. I think that the reality of an afterlife instead of a speculation would be a changing factor. And Severus has obviously healed from all the horrors of his life, and come to terms with the things he wanted but never had.
I wonder, is Severus really dead? Could it be a curse? That phrase from Firenze comes to mind: "...a half-life, a cursed life." But not cursed as in damned to hell after mortality, but Cursed as in a Wizarding curse: damned to a painting instead of mortality?
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Hmm, great thoughts, but there has been 20 years between his death and his picture being commissioned. He's definitely dead. ~sniff, I hated writing that. I hate when he's dead-dead.
Perhaps they should have told Filius to get another painting hung in his office! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Sunny! That would have been a great idea. LOL
It seems they're stuck here for a moment, which should give them time enough to get to each other better. And after that they can both walk out of the frame and live happily ever after. *grin*
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
We're always looking for that happily ever after. Hopefully, they can get there.
I get seasick in a bathtub so I know how she feels. Thank the goddess I have a shower. *grin* Now, where do they go from here? ^_^
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
LOL! Poor girl was tossed around way too much. I think now they'll head for land, and more research.
Could we please have more, what a place to leave off!!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
LOL, More is up. Thank you!

JUST GREAT HAHAHAHA SHES SICK LOL
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
She is. Poor thing. The next picture will be nice and solid, and non-moving.
I love your stories. Thank you so much for writing them. I can't wait to see where this one goes. I love the quirky magic.
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
Thank you! I love your reviews. There is a bit of odd magic going around, isn't there?
Oh, noes! How is Hermione going to get out of this one? And if she can, will Severus be able to follow her? Loved that spell she put on him, though, to insure no foul language...I'm amazed that he didn't explode from having to keep it all in. Speaking of exploding, I may very well explode while waiting to see what happens next!
Response from debjunk (Author of More than Brushstrokes)
All good questions that will eventually be answered. They've really gotten themselves into something now.
