Welcome to my world of (largely) erotic exploration of the human condition. (Well, that's one way of putting it anyway ...)
My writing is largely rated NC-17 and, as you will see, contains a lot of explicit detail. But I cannot write without developing believable characters, largely in canon (at least as a starting point), whose behaviour is established through dialogue and tangible situations. I adore these characters and tend to write from the inside out, getting inside their heads and simply letting them talk (and act ...). Yes, there is a lot of sex, but I hope my characters' sexuality enables them, and us, to discover deeper aspects of their personalities.

I wish there was a special category in my account here at TPP where I could file away examples of the most insightfully and superbly written characters, this chapter would go into it.That one line "You are...you." In the context of their conversation that's all that needs to be said. It is so very Snape short, eloquent and succint.

Damn, Mrs. Norris is such a pest. Thank goodness Hermione was rescued in time. I'm glad that Severus' anger didn't last, and that he didn't flip out when she brought up Lily. I don't know where things will go for them, but there is hope yet.

The chapter was exciting but it was also so much heartache. How Severus treated at the end was so cold.... most women would not attempt after this so I am curious to see how you have Hermione hold up though this... good work.

I think Hermione understands how emotionally desolate he is. This is all so new and frightening for him, I suppose - she can take it. But you are right - she is very good to allow herself to be treated like that. x
What an ending!!!!!! The kissing scene left me breathless... great writing... I could picture the scene as if it was playing in a movie.

Interesting chapter - Hermione's portrail where she was the one who made advances with her hand was a good show. I would never figure Snape making the first move so this plays true to form - loved it.

Fantastic set-up of sexual tension and longing. I loved the way you built up to it and leaving Hermione unsure of what she truly felt to the very end. Another wonderful chapter.
