Welcome to my world of (largely) erotic exploration of the human condition. (Well, that's one way of putting it anyway ...)
My writing is largely rated NC-17 and, as you will see, contains a lot of explicit detail. But I cannot write without developing believable characters, largely in canon (at least as a starting point), whose behaviour is established through dialogue and tangible situations. I adore these characters and tend to write from the inside out, getting inside their heads and simply letting them talk (and act ...). Yes, there is a lot of sex, but I hope my characters' sexuality enables them, and us, to discover deeper aspects of their personalities.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO FRIEND ME ON LJ WHERE MY USERNAME IS LAURIELOVER1912. YOU CAN ALSO FIND ME ON FACEBOOK (LAURIELOVE).
My favourite pairings are Hermione/Lucius and Hermione/Severus, but I have written for various other couples and situations.
I have recently started writing original works which have, fortunately, been picked up by publishers. If you are interested in my original work, my penname is Demelza Hart.
I love establishing a dialogue with my readers. Please feel free to contact me with comments, suggestions, criticism, anything. I look forward to hearing from you!
In the meantime ... enjoy!

That was fun. I'm so glad they got away and could do something nice.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
They can't stay cooped up in the castle forever. x
Lovely interlude, but what is Ginny thinking now? :)
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
What indeed? x More imminently,
Wow, Severus does have a romantic streak in him after all; go figure. I think Hermione gave him just the push he needed, and she got the answer she was looking for regrding their relationship. But now Ginny noticed Hermione's attention on Severus. Guess we'll see if that's for good or not.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
He's learning, but yes ... so is Ginny ... x
Beautiful...............

Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
He can do sweet if he tries really hard. x
It seems that none of Hermione's friends have noticed how she always stays after class, lucky for Hermione.

Thank you! x
It seems that Hermione will have to work for what she wants.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
She will - but if anyone can do it, it's Hermione! x
Nothing will ever be easy with this man, but the aggravation will certainly be worth it.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
A little angst never did anyone any harm! x
I love it so far, can't wait to read more.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Thank you! x
Oh what a yummy way to start a weekend. This is my favorite kind of story, lots of sneaky shagging and tormented dialogue. Oh thanks to you!
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
I can do torment, dialogue and shagging as much as you want!! And sneaking ... more up now. x
I'm sure Severus' insecurities about being so much older than her and perhaps not as exciting or outgoing or emotionally mature as he thinks she would want a lover to be weighed on his mind when Hermione talked about the 'time' issue. But I have a feeling she will reply to him "Oh, ye of little faith!" LOL! I don't blame her in the least, mind you!
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Hermione knows what she wants - she just needs to convince Severus of it. More up now. x
This chapter has an unfinished feel to it. Not your writing but the fact that they have come so far emotionally and yet still have a long way to go. Great update.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
They do indeed. Slowly slowly catchy monkey! More up now. x
Thank you so much for the update, I love how your Hermione aknowlegde that Severus migth not be a perfect man, but that he is just what she wants and that he, and their relationship, is worth working for. A really good chapter!!!
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Concisely but perfectly put! Thank you! More now. x
Oh wow! So powerful, especially the scene were he falls to his knees before her, absolutely contrite and... wow. Words fail me.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Thank you! I like that moment a lot. He knows he has erred but he knows even more how much he needs her. More now. x
Another great chapter. I think they handled the aftermath of their previous encounter quite well. I'm glad that he recognized that an apology was in order, but was realistic in voicing that sometimes he needs that, and as such it may happen again in the future. And she gave herself a bit of time to reflect on how she really felt about the situation instead of rushing in and being wildly angry, or a doormat for him. Once they both know what they want, it will be easier to define how their relationship will go. If they are both openminded and honest, I think things could work out quite well. The end, where she asks him, “Which do you prefer? Lying here together peacefully or screwing each other senseless around the castle?”, and he answers that he is in favor of both, I think really cuts to the heart of the matter. If they can find a balance between the two, there is hope for a future together. I have my fingers crossed for them.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
You have expressed things very well. By allowing him to continue in the way that he did, Hermione was accepting his weaknesses - she needed to show him she would and he needed her to know he had them. But to apologise ... that was a big step for him. She knew that. They should be pleased with how things are going. Onwards ... x
“Which do you prefer? Lying here together peacefully or screwing each other senseless around the castle?” Both have their merits, indeed! LOL :)
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Oh yes! More now. x
well, he apologized but her reaction disapointed me. To be happy almost that she was forced and hurt( as you stated her hips were bashing on the desk) seems strange to me. And then to hop back into humping him tells him its ok to disrespect her whenever he wants, Still a good story though.
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
I have to say, at that point they both needed that sense of urgency and sensation. He was not disrespecting her but he was certainly revealing his own insecurities and weaknesses and by allowing him to proceed (he would have stopped had she told him) she was acknowledging and accepting those insecurities. I know it is complicated, but ... he is a complicated person and she seems to know what she wants from him and how to handle it. More now. x Hope you'll find most of the next chapter rather more romantic! x
oh dear is right..lol, well ok she did say yes, but i hope he is going to apologize for that, because she didnt deserve that and he was an arsehole, orgasm or not!
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
He was a bit of a twat, but for very complicated reasons. More now. x
She was definitely in charge in that encounter. :)
Response from laurielove (Author of Out of the Depths)
Yeah - I think he needs that occasionally. x
