Its lovely how you ended this chapter!  Glad to see they're finding their way back to each other "the way it used to be"...

Such a lovely chapter, was lovely to see Severus take the lead holding her hand in the hall and being so caring in his quarters. I like how they are progressing, but guess there got to be a hitch somwhere before they find their happy ending (and ours too).

Hourray!! He admitted he loves her. He even said the words aloud. Alright, it was to a sleeping Hermione, but for him that's a big step. And the last scene was so peaceful a moment. Just perfect.

Oh, how I hope Hermine hear Severus' declaration of love for her.  This has been such a sweet and calm time for them, I can't help but worry that something awful is just around the corner.  Like, who is using Hermione's hair and what terrible things are they planning to do to make her look very bad.  I still can't get the thoughts Polyjuice out of my mind.I loved the tenderness they've shared in this chapter.  You made me smile.  Thanks.Beth

This is a very sweet chapter. Things between them are progressing nicely. I am very worried about who will be using Hermiones hair.

Why is it that any time we hear the words "I love you" only one or the other is awake.  They need to coordinate better :)  This was such a nice, calm chapter.  I am sure that means there is some drama right around the corner!

This chapter is filled with crosscurrents of emotions!  Severus has been knocked out, hexed and beaten, Obliviated, and left out in the snow.  Thank goodness Professor Flitwick found him before he froze to death.Hermione was abducted, blindfolded and forced to hear all the letters her tormentors had sent to her, been left in utter silence, and had her hair harvested.  What are they trying to do?  Is this only to make her feel more fear?  Or perhaps they intend to to Polyjuice themselves and do unspeakable things to make it seem like Hermione is running amok?I'm very worried by what has happened and can't get it out of my mind that this is only the beginning of the escalation of the attacks on her.But I am also extremely happy that Hermione has told Severus that she loves him, and I had a big smile on my face when Severus called her name and smiled... while dreaming about her!Yes, they will have a happy ending after all of the problems are sorted,  but I have a feeling that there are more difficult times ahead of them before all the sorting is done.  At least they have each other to hold on to, and I'll bet Severus will make the Death Eaters pay dearly for harming his Hermione!Well done, m'dear.Beth

I glad that they both seem to be okay considering their ordeal. This will be a good thing to bring them closer to one another. I love this story :)

Who are these miscreants?? I suppose if Severus' memory of the man's voice was erased it's because he can recognize it. I hope someone can help him remember so the bad guys go to prison and the love birds can solve their issues and get back to their happy life together.

The plot thickens.  Hopefully their shared traumatic experience will jump start their relationship although it seems they were starting down that road before they were attacked anyway.  Looking forward to more!

It sounds like whoever Severus and Hermione's captors were, they put the pair of them through seven layers of hell. I'm still thinking it's a woman Severus was seeing after his breakup with Hermione that is the one behind all this... she probably realized she was getting nowhere with Severus because his heart still belonged to Hermione, and with the breakup of Hermione's marriage, figured that the former lovers might reunite. She was probably fixated on just punishing Hermione until Severus re-entered the picture, which is likely what set her off on both of them. I'm curious to learn who this woman is... perhaps Narcissa? Judging by the robes and tactics used, she's at the very least connected to the Death Eaters. Very intriguing story and a really great read!

A silly idea just struck me. What if Sev himself send those letters to have her seek his help? That good be a good way for him to know if she still feel something for him and try to have her back. I know it's silly but...

I love the chemistry between these two. I can't think of any other stories with a past relationship between the two where one of them got married. Very interesting!
