I love the romance in this chapter. Seeing them quietly spending time together and sharing little thoughts and touches made me smile. I especially liked when Severus awoke from his nap to find that he was stretched out on the lounge and Hermione was lying on top of him. Woohoo!
When he asked her to accompany him to Prince Manor I wanted to cheer. YES!!! They have a chance to start over and really make a wonderful life together, and I hope there aren't too many stumbling blocks in their path. Of course, I can't shake the feeling that something horrid will happen to cause desention... but hopefully all will be well in the end.And there's still that nasty business about Hermione's tormentors having taken some of her hair when she was abducted. Every time I recall it, all I can think about is Polyjuice Potion. I'm afraid that one of her tormentors will use it to impersonate her and cause a big problem between her and Severus.Another great chapter, brandy! Thank you.

Yes, I thought that our couple deserved a little romance and love time with each other. Heheh, and yes, the lying on top of him thing was very deliberate. This is so cute that he made me forget there is a threat outside. And there'a that nagging feeling that she wasn't kidnapped just for a few hours. Something must have happened during those hours.

What do I think? I think you left us with an evil cliffie! I'm guessing that it must have been Rosier who knocked Severus out cold and spoke to Hermione calling her "Mudblood." Who ever it is, he must have come to kidnap her and take her away to whereever his partner in crime is waiting.Just when Severus had admitted that he had never stopped caring for her, that accursed man showed up and we must wait for the next chapter.Fabulous chapter, this is!Beth

What do I think? Argh! Evil cliffie?! That's not like you, Brandy.I liked how Severus opened up to Hermione a little bit, not a full confession of love, but it's a lot for him.And then... darkness. Who is that man? Malfoy? I just don't know. Can't wait for the update.

Gulp!But let's see now... the attacker outside the gates called Hermione 'Mudblood', and in the taunting note she was addressed as 'Granger'. And the tone of the note made it seem as though the person considered her a rival of sorts... could it possibly be Draco behind all this?Whoever this person(s) is, the attacks have all been personal in nature... while Draco - or Lucius - could indeed hold a personal grudge, I was wondering if the grudge could maybe be romantic in nature. If a woman is orchestrating all this, it could be that she has accomplices that are doing her dirty work. Severus mentioned that he had not been able to feel for anyone since Hermione, which implies that he tried to move on. Maybe there is a woman who holds Hermione personally responsible for her romantic failure?*Ahem* I guess I had best keep reading if I want to find out, eh? 
Something was niggling at me so I re-read a pertinent chapter... I am definitely leaning toward the latter theory now. And my number one suspect is a certain blonde. Hermione's dream makes me suspect she may harbor ill feeling towards Severus as well...
