Ok i love the thought that there will be a third one, just please don't make us wait too long! ;)
I really liked this story as well, especially how you wive original characters into the pretty much canon storyline. I'm also happy you choose not to kill Snape off (he is my favorite, do I'm al little put out whenever someone offs him (including jkr!!). Can't wait to see what the third will bring.

I've just finished reading PHOENIX SONG and these first few chapters. I love them. `Very well written and wonderfully constucted. It is delightful not to have to do a  rewrite in my head before I can understand what you have written. Your character development is very good and this story line dovetails seamlessly with cannon.  Since I have read this all at once, I am not aware of your update schedule. I do hope you update fairly often. I know that is selfiish and impatient of me, but this is why I generally only read completed fics. PLEASE don't abandon. That is the worst thing that can happen.I love Jocelyn and wonder how she will fit into this year. I really enjoyed the Vecter story.OK, the truth is... I am a very big sap for SS/HG and wanted them to kiss at the end of this chapter.  ~sigh~  But I recognize that the tension is the driving force. So I guess you can consider my disquiet as evidence that you are right on track.WHEW! In 3 years of reading fanfics, this is by far the longest and most detailed review I have ever left.

You absolutely  HAVE TO publish the third book!  I almost cried at the end of the first book, because I'd found it through an ss/hg awards site and didn't realize it was a part of a trilogy.  And now I've got tears in my eyes, again!  I just read through both stories in less than a day -- they're so wonderful!  I need more.  Please, PLEASE, I beg you - publish them soon!

Ooh, this chapter is sad!  I just-wow, it hurts to read!  Not because it's poorly written, but because the raw desperation in all the people involved.  Ouch.

You're an absolutely amazing author - the story would hold together on its own, and it holds together with the books. I can recognized how hard that is to do, especially given the quality of the action and the writing. So I know it's been a couple years, but I was wondering if you were ever going to write a sequel?

I don't think people make enough of a fuss about the fact that Dumbledore meant for Harry to murder Snape, but I certainly intend to!!"  Good on Dumbledore, screw up Snape by having him murder you, then screw up Harry by having him murder Snape, only to find out afterwar that Snape wasn't a bad guy.  I'd say you're on the money there!

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about the next sequel, I hope there isn't too much longer to wait! These stories are amazing, and while most stories that recap HBP/DH usually bore the hell out of me, these have not at all, they're just completely enthralling & I wish they'd never end!
And I think 'Pheonix Reborn' would be a good title cos that alludes to the ability of Pheonixes to resurrect themselves.

Another lovely chapter!  I liked Kingsley and Hermione's talk and how Hermione was obsessed with George's ear.  ^_^

Viktor seems to be doing well with the business cards and setting uo relationships to network people out of Voldemort's way.

I've read both of your stories in succession today, and I absolutely love both of them! I cannot wait for the third instalment!

I love how Snape and Hermione give their escape gifts to each other and how the theme of home is played out between them, Granger's parents, and the Malfoys.  Most excellent as always! 

Ah, parents.  A good chapter to explain just how Hermione got her parents to safety.  With Snape's help.  Awesome. 

I hope to see a part 3 soon!

Oh my God, please write another one!!!!! I know real life gets in the way, but pleeeeeeeeeeease? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease? I want to know what *happens*! We've gotten one kiss! *One*! And Jocelyn has such potential! Pleeeease write another one? Pheonix Reborn? Anything?
