Reviews for A Gift of the Goddess
Stupid Lucius Malfoy. While the truth had to come out sometime, he shouldn't have been the one to cause it to come about. Grrr.... oh well. Guess it's for the better. Glad that Eydis punched Scorpius in the nose =)I'm glad that Severus and Eydis were able to work things out with no long sections of angst between them. I would hate to see the two of them on the outs with each other for very long.Looking forward to the next chapter. =)

I always like it when Malfoys get punched on the nose ;-)Eydis is her mother's daughter, understanding and forgiving. And Severus ... well, he's getting older and wiser. His angsty days are over.Glad you enjoyed this chapter.Cheers. /M
Tell me Lucius is going to get his comeuppance. Please? :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
He will be very crushed soon, I promise :-)Cheers. /M
Well, that was a bit of nastiness. If I were a betting woman I'd say that Severus will be having one heck of a talk with young Mr. Malfoy and Lucius will get the rough side of Severus's tongue as well.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Let's say dear Lucius will soon have some troubles ...Cheers. /M
Bittersweet chapter, just like how I enjoy my chocolate!Sorry it took me so long to review, but I'm working almost 80 hrs a week. anyhow, I really enjoyed the chapter and I loved the 'old crone' who sees ghosts. Will we see her again?
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
80 hours? Horrid, truly horrid! Stop that!I am glad you liked the chapter. It is indeed bittersweet. And yes, we will see the crone again.Take care. /M
Well, there was that last chapter where I didn't boo-hoo, but I'm back at it again with this one. I liked the hope that her presence brings, though.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
*hands over a box of tissues* Four more chapters. Make sure the tissues last so long ;-)Cassandra will always be there to lend comfort and hope. Until the very end.Have a lovely weekend,

Ruh roh, teaming up with a Malfoy. Loved Severus' worry about her sorting.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Teaming up with a Malfoy is never good.No hankie today? ;-)/M
Poor Snape! Never been good with kids so he's overcompensating with his own. I hope that after thinking about everything and the events from Christmas change his mind in the future.Looking forward to the next chapter. =)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
He's learning, the good man. Hopefully, he has a lot of people around him who'll help him. If he lets them, than is.Next chapter's in the queue.Thank you for reading and leaving a note. /M
This is just so sweet! I am glad he wants to be impartial, yet I agree that he needs to take the stick out of her arse! Lovely, dearest!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Pssst, don't let him hear you talking about the stick up his a... ;-)Cheers. /M
Deputy Headmaster/Head of House/Potions Master etc. - the package is just too much, when all Eydis really wants is for him to be her father (and lighten up a bit, Sev!) :-)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Lighten up? Severus Snape? Muahaha!! ;-)Cheers,

Per is sweet./M
Poor man, the compassion of the others was just too much too bear.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
This must be especially hard for someone like Severus Snape./M
Every time you write about Cassandra's death, you bring a new dimension to it. His pain was palpable.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Thank you very much./M
Very sad, as expected. Still, the pink birthday party sounded absolutely fabulous! :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)

Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Can you picture Snape in a Lamaze class? The poor instructor!! LOL/M
LOL. Poor man must be scared to be needed comfort from a cat! :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
hehe, as you pointed out earlier: I am mean to him! LOLCheers. /M
Isn't that terrified response so typical for men who have just found out they are going to be fathers? :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Hm, I think so. Wonder why?/M
This is one of the saddest chapters! I can only imagine the fear that Severus must be feeling knowing that he will only have Cassandra for a little while longer. It's so sad to think of Severus and Eydis without Cassy... I'm glad, though, that she is ready to talk to Severus about her limited future and has accepted that she will not grow old with him or see her daughter "grow up, fall in love and have a family of her own." You've written this chapter very well.Beth
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of A Gift of the Goddess)
Thank you, dear Beth.It is indeed a very sad chapter, sad for everyone involved: for Eydis to be losing her mother, for Severus to be losing the one who showed him the way home, and for Cassandra for having to leave her family behind. Unfortunately, life just isn't fair.I am very glad you liked the chapter.Haver a nice weekend. /M
