Bravo! I loved that there was nothing sappy or 'instant ture love'-like in their meeting (even though I believe Harry has it right: Tobias and Joy do love each other). It seemed very real and natural in their time together in the resturant. Slowly getting over their akwardness was a joy to read and I liked how both of them had a few missteps - like Severus' mention of Hermione being preconditioned to a certain reaction and how that took them back to previous roles. I liked that Severus wasn't this amazingly smooth character but a 'real' person who sometimes was smoooth but sometimes not-so-much.

Oh, and that bit about the 'bad romance novel' ~snerk~ It's a lovely story and well deserving of it's praise.

OH yeah... and lastly - 'penis, penis, penis' LOL. I wa sin chat that night too and it still makes me laugh even all this time later. :)

I thought the last cliffie was EVIL, but this one - THIS ONE!  I keep scrolling up and down looking for the next paragraphs - but they are not there!  MUST READ MORE!  WHERE IS IT?  IS IT POSTED YET?  WHAT ABOUT NOW?  OH - this was wonderful - almost beyond words!  Great pacing, great dialog, great everything.  And if your "smut" lives up to the UST promise given in this chapter, then I may spontaneously combust and never get to finish this story <sob>.  You have earned many pounds of virtual chocolate for this one!!!!!!

As much as I'd imagined it, as much as I'd thought of how the interaction could develop, this was 100 times better. It is perfect, from her babbling interspersed with his monosyllables, through the mutual acknowledgement and tentative approaches, down to the end of the chapter. Not to mention Harry's "Searching his mind for the words, he picked up Ginny’s small hand, so much less fragile than it seemed, and stroked his thumb over the back before looking up into her warm blue eyes, fixed on his face with a wary cast to them."

This is great writing.

P.P.S. I've checked the reviews for chapter 8 and mine does not show, either. Apparently I'm not very lucky with reviewing this. Short summary: I had read all the chapters in one go, was thoroughly entranced, even exhilarated, yes that was quite a cliffie, no you're not a bad author for doing that, great grasp at reality, lovely prose, couldn't wait for more. With many more details and in many more words of course! Sorry for that...
