I know I'm a bad reader...but I generally wait until the end to review a story...you had me in stitches watching these two get ready for their date.  The build up to the moment of the reveal...absolutely priceless!  I cannot WAIT to see what happens next!  I hope our couple doesn't throw it all in because of preconceived notions.

Much as it pains me to say it, the stopping point for the evil cliffie was well-timed.

First, squee for posting. I was so happy when I saw your story in the newly submitted section!
I love the whole fic so far, but for me the most entertaining parts have been the snarky written exchanges between Snape and Hermione. Your characterization of Snape has been spot on IMO - he is a lot of things but *nice* is not one of them. Hermione is older, therefore it makes sense that she is not cowed and can dish it out as well. I am hoping for some more sarcasm and repartee in future chapters.
And I *cannot wait* for the next chapter.
But I will.
