Fantastic! I'd love to see a sequel!!

Well, to your ANs, I think this story ended perfectly and I don't actually think it needs a sequel. However, that said, I am a real fan of your work (I still think that scene in Tying Knots is the hottest thing I've ever read! LOL) and so I would certainly read a sequel if you choose to write one. :)I found this story as a whole, delightful. And just as you so deserved your previous Potter Place win, you have delivered another first rate tale that leaves no doubt as to why your writing rises to the top. Congratulations!!PS - how do you pronounce Euterpe? I have been curious throughout this whole fic. LOL

Bravo! Severus handled that beautifully. I was worried there for a minute that he would botch the attempt, but he came through with flying colors. :)

Wonderful ending to a beautiful, mature, absolutely enjoyable story.


I love the letter, and love how -after writing it- he finds the gut to tell her face to face how he feels.
His phrasing of the difference between "loving" and "being in love" is indeed perfect to ground their new relationship.
His gift and her reception are also moving and perfect in the context, as are the bits of humour popping up throughout the chapter, that complement and balance the overall romantic tones.

As for a sequel... are you joking?!? YES, YES, YES! Of course I want a sequel! Whatever the tone, whatever the length.

I'm new to this site and have only just come across this story but boy am I glad I did!  I've gradually been working my way through it from the beginning and I don't think there are enough words in my vocabulary to express all I feel about it: It's got a bit of everything - great and spot-on characterisation, humour, wit, compassion, romance and, above all else, is so well written.  I'm not normally a great fan of SS/HG pairings but here I can see the attraction & sense of it; they are so well suited, especially intellectually.  I shall be sorry to see it end with the last chapter coming up but, equally, thank you for both writing and sharing such a wonderful story. :)

I almost fell out of my chair laughing. And bless you, you didn't make us wait for the letter till the NEXT chapter. You'd have been hexed six ways to Sunday if you had, I suspect. What a GORGEOUS story and what a perfect chapter. You HAVE TO write a sequel, this isn't going to be long enough with only one more chapter:)

Nice chapter, i really am going to be waiting on baited breathe for the next one.  i hope that they sort it all out and that there will be an epiloge so we know what happens with them.  I also like that fact that the chapters have been gettting longer as you have written.  Thanks for writing, Huanita

Ha, ha, ha, ha...Padfoot, he named his dog Padfoot! I don't know why, but that just struck me as one of the funniest things I have read amongst these stories of late.


Also, this is one of the most romantic I have read of late. I look forward to the final chapter!

I can't wait for the next chapter, but I am also sad that it will be the last. You could definitely write a sequel if you ever have the time.

I love this story and I'm sad to see that the next chapter will be the last :-(  Maybe a follow-up story in the future...

Woohoo!  Euterpe is a force to be reckoned with!  I laughed out loud when Severus realized that everyone in the waiting room heard the Healer tell him to tell Hermione... Yippie!

When Hermione read his letter I had tears in my eyes.
"My dearest Hermione, Beloved, Joy of my shadowed life"

I couldn't have been more tickeled when she threw open the front door and saw him standing there.  "Wrenching open the door hard enough to send it banging against the wall, tears cascaded down her cheeks as laughter bubbled from her throat. She threw herself into his arms."

Then I really cried!  Thank you for such a marvelous, angsty, oozing-love filled chapter.  I will be sad for this story to end after the next chapter, but the joy you have given me in the telling of this tale cannot be overstated!

I just knew she was going to think the worst when she awoke.  I did think that the flower would eash her  fears, but I didn't think of how she'd interpret it.  Made sense, though, especially since she's almost as insecure as he is.  At least it seems that Severus came up with a good remedy.  Can't wait to see exactly what it is! 

I enjoyed his 'search' for the truth.  He's such a dunce sometimes, but it's so typically him to do it that way and to think that other influences must have made Hermione say she loved him.  Dunce, dunce, dunce, dunderheaded dunce.

I'm story to stole your words, but I'd say I feel happy. I laughed a lot here. I was frustrated sometimes and wanted to slap him for his stupidy and carelessness. I love Healer Levy. She is like the mother whose advices he needs more than anything, even of he doesn't know. I ache for Hermione in the state of distress you presented her. And I can just see where this is leading. Jewelry indeed... *wink*

another great chapter.   i guess it stands to reason he'd be competely clueless, but i still kinda wanted to shake some sense into his thick head.  which i guess is what euterpe did.  i am very much looking forward to the happy resolution.  :)
