Oh, I hope Hermione's conversation with Ginny helps her realize that she really wants to meet him in person.  It seems Severus has already come to that conclusion in his own way.  I can picture him sitting in his rooms, his nose buried in the afghan.  I love this story!

Great update! I laughed at Severus' reaction and cried with Hermione.  Isn't if funny how we all want to feel loved even if we have successful careers and fabulous friends.  My daughter put it so poignantly "I just want to know that somebody loves me who doesn't have to love me (family and friends.)Makes my heart break.  So fix it will you Hidden by updating so I can believe in happy endings again. Thanks.

You've written a wonderful chapter with fabulous interaction between the characters.  I nearly snorted my coffee with the "well you spent a lot of time with Albus" line.  And when Jenny asked if she was that lonely and Hermione answered yes,my throat got tight.

Ginny must be feeling really guilty for not noticing how  Hermione was feeling.

I wonder which one of the two will disagree with the contract first. Severus because he finally wants to be a part a the baby's life or Hermione because she can't go through the insemination procedure and prefers to make a baby the old fashioned way.

I just finished this last nite, - it was such a wonderful story.  I love the letters (Sev's snarky comments), the characterizations, the angst, the pacing, and of course, the happy ending... Very well done.  And since you mentioned the possibility of a sequel, I have to tell ya - I usually prefer a story about SS/HG first getting together, and the growth of their relationship, but have never been a big fan of the fics that are about their kids.  But in this case, I'll make an exception - I would LOVE to read a sequel to this.

Wonderful story, I enjoyed it very much. At first, the pairing Hermione-Severus is somewhat disturbing to me, their characters and age difference make it less feasible for me. But, I have to say, you pull it off very well, addressing these points to make a good build-up to their romance. Well done!

And I would love to see a sequel!

Sigh! Voxangelus sent me here when I professed the need for some fluff yo read.(If you've been keeping up with the SSHG exchange, you'll understand why the latest fic offering wasn't something I should have read just before bed.) Anyway, it's two in the morning nowm and while I may not have completely eradicated the earlier fic from my head, I can now, curl up in bed with some hope of dreaming something that won't cause me to wake up screaming... And if sleep doesn't take, I may just have to check to see whether you wrote that sequel.
