I enjoy this immensely. I do think that falling in love through letters is the better way to do it, if there is one. You learn to know the person without prejudices for just what he/she are and I think you better let your guard down than when facing people. Because you know you won't be judge by a person who doesn't know who your identity is.I just have a tiny remark about dates. Hermione was born in 1979 (she turns 12 at the beginning of her first year, 1991) so that would make her be 32 in 2011. Same for Severus. He was born in 1959 so he turns 53 on the 9th of january 2012. Just a thought...

Well, you made a prompt that was uninteresting to me into a very compelling, fun story. It's very entertaining so far.

This is a fabulous story! You write Severus and Hermione's correspondence so well. The wording of their letters seems really spot on. I wonder how long it will be before they each put two and two together. I mean, how many sarcastic, 52-year-old bastards were at the front lines of BOTH wars? Surely Hermione will figure it out soon. 

Curiouser and curiouser. Looking forward to how you'll bring them together, and to the surely spectacular fireworks when they discovered each other's identity, and reconcile their preconceived notions of the other with the image they've formed from their correspondence.

Thank you for this update!  "Bundle of Joy" is rapidly becoming one of my all time favorites.  The smart and playful repartee they exchanged in their letters to each other is engaging and made me smile the whole time I was reading.The change in both Hermione's and Snape's attitude toward the other is wonderfully illustrated in their letters.  I find it highly amusing that he is reminded of his former student, one Hermione Granger, and she is reminded of someone, too, but can't quite put her mental finger on whom it could be because she can't imagine that anyone of her acquaintance would have responded to her advertisement in the Daily Prophet.Without their having intended to do so, they are coming to know each other in a personal way and finding the other to their liking.  Even more telling is that their own personal existence has become enriched as a result of their exchange of letters.I love the story you are telling and hope to see an update soon.  Thank you, again for this fabulously entertaining tale.Beth

Thank you so much for a very appriciated update! I just love the letters between Hermione and Severus, you write them so well!I admit to have a small whish for them to decide to meet and conceive the child the natural way, but I have a feeling that would not be in the plot:-) I do hope though that you will have them safely together before the child is born (make them have twins, they need something to shake their well planned world:-)). Not because I think that there is anything wrong about being a single parent or that marriage are the only true joy in life, but because I love for my Hermione and Severus to live happily ever after with eachother, preferably sooner rather than later:-)) Besides, I would just love to let the rest of the world see how happy they are together and how perfect they are for eachother! One thing is for sure, Severus would never be so low class that he discuss the sexlife of himself and his significiant other as party entertainment! Update again soon!!!

An excellent progression. It's sad how both of them feel the other won't want anything to do with them once the contract's been fulfilled - I'm rather hoping they'll figure things out at some point though!

Wow, I could feel the emotional change as the letters progress, excellent writting. The back story is so mundanely sad we see that type of break up so often in real life, you made me cry. I like how she put the ball in his court regarding contact in the future. I'm sure there will be pleanty!  So many thoughts and possible plot twist I could ask you about but won't, this is your tale to tell. So update quickly!Thanks for not abandoning this great story.

Please make the next one come sooner, because this is developing to be one of the best stories I have started to read in a long time!!Call me a nerd, but there are two tiny little inconsistencies: Hermione was born 1979, making her 32 in 2011, and Severus' birthday is January 9th, so it couldn't be the coming Monday (which is only ever 7 days away) on December 30th.But I really loved the chapter!!!
