After the previous cliff I thought we were going to get it in the next chapter – but you managed to build up even more tension! Of course we all pretend to be angry and of course we're all delighted that the climax isn't over yet! BTW, I'm glad you're continuing with the Knots again.

Wow! At the end of the last chapter I feared that Severus might be the one to run away from the situation, but of course I like this situation much more. Thank you!

WINNER OF THE BEST MAKEOUT SESSION, EVER!

This had to be difficult to write but at the same time immensely fun to do. I tried to imagine how I would write it and realise you are much more talented than I ever will be. The body language is perfect, then tension perfect, along with the pacing. Everything was just perfect.

I really liked that you pointed out Severus is an elitist which to many people means "bad person," I'm married to one who can be quite tolerant and kind of others if I'm there to remind him. Its a sure thing that Hermione will make Severus a better person and as so aptly put be "his redemption."

You know it's funny, but when Hermione first realizes it's Snape and is babbling on, for some reason I just get this picture of her pacing and all nervous like she was about to enter her N.E.W.T.S or something - only in a green backless dress and heels.  I'm so glad they remembered themselves and got over their akwardness.  I thought Snape was totally in character AND cute, ordering her favorite wine *sigh* and feeling forward about it...sorry, but it's just cute on him - go figure.  LOL

Other than that, I just couldn't wait to get through the chapter to find the "penis" part... I just kept reading trying to figure out where that would fit into the conversation since nothing untoward was happening.  I kept looking at the scroll bar to figure out how much more I had to go to actually find the word "penis".  LOL  Of course, it would be at the end...took you long enough! ;-)

Also, I loved that Harry and Ginny figured it out!  As with all of them, great chapter.  Can't wait for the next one!

Guess this is my cliffie...enough foreplay, get on with it already!

But seriously, this was an extremely well written chapter.  The build-up of emotion and angst was well dosed while you kept it feeling 'real' and true to character.  Great job!

I noticed your austen movie allusions... "my wishes and desires have not changed" mr darcy.. and "With a rueful smile as she sipped her wine, Hermione believed that all they would need to cover would be literature, the fine arts, and religion. After that, they’d have nothing to talk about." alluding to sense and sensibility when eleanor speaks to marianne. :)
