I love this story! For me it starts off a bit cold and formal and becomes increasingly warmer and warmer as their relationship warms. If that was the intention then you succeeded. Well done. I think this is my favorite love scene of all the fan fics (and might I add, published works). I think you captured his character, as we would have him, very well.

Irishredlass said it perfectly:  I absolutely love the way he lost it and found it all in one scene.  What a perfect way for Severus to come into his own. 

Their coupling was passionate and loving, but the thing that took my breath away was the way he unburdened his heart about his previous life and the way he could not stand to go back to being that other Severus.

I love this story so much that I hate the thought that in two more chapters it will be finished.  You have no idea how your story has moved me and made my heart sing.   This chapter is particularly worthy of praise because you've allowed us to see Severus as a phoenix rising from the ashes... all because Hermione wanted a baby.

I must admit I should feel ashamed of myself. And it's not what you think, you naughty girl (no need for Legilimency here ;D). No, I was actually catching up with some other fic I'm following when I received mail from the headmistress, stating you've updated your story. I dropped immediatly everything I was doing, and I must say I don't regret it one second. Even if I feel a tiny pang of guilt for the misfortuned other author.

As for the chapter, what can I say other than brilliant, fantactic, marvellous, dream like, pure heaven and every other praise words you will undoubtedly receive.

I'll stop there and probably will lie down for a bit, erm needed rest, after all the emotions I've just been through (now you can have that naughty thought you had earlier *smug look*). And then, I will resume my previous reading, which is not as endearing as yours, but still quite good.

“I just shagged Professor Snape.”  And then to threaten to owl the girls with the details.  LOL. Nice touch of humour mixed in with the rest! :)

Damn, that was hot, and then it shifted to really sweet.  Only 2 more chapters? Say it isn't so.

You tease, you! Poor Severus has been held in this state for two weeks now! Please put him/them out of their "misery" soon. Eagerly awaiting more of this wonderful story - a joy to read, pardon the pun! Realistic human interactions, a nice blend of canon and OOC, and very well written. When can we expect the next chapter??!?
