I don't know about his being furious with her.   I think he's got a plan and, as uncomfortable as it is, he's waiting to see how it plays out.  He's a man with his eye on the big picture, as usual.

The introduction of chaos as a mitigating factor isn't something they'd be all that familiar with (nor are most people), though Severus is obviously better read on the idea.  If Sirius used his magic to "make" Severus accept him, he'd be on the path his family walked for so long.  Mrs. Black would be proud, I'm sure... but I think he'd rather take his own life than become what his mum wished him to be.I hope you are breathing again - and clean, however chilly. ;)

I think they're all pretty clear on what's happening, but I doubt the men could overcome their mutual dislike enoiugh to do anything like that.  Even for her.  Maybe especially because it's her.  Hmmm.  Have to think about that.

Oh, her feelings for Severus run deeper than lust, but he's not the sort to give into love without some sort of fight.  I think she loves them both, just not in the same way, as befitting two very different and complex men.
