Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

catching up on my challenge reading, and this is a goodie! I love that they are both looking for the other. Clever Hermione to use the internet to find his home. And now she is pretty certain he is there. Thanks for this story!

No, I guess the potions supply room would NOT be the place for privacy. hahahahha! Why did she think that a tea towel would help with the amount of water that she heard?
That was very generous and (the horror!) kind-hearted of Severus to tell Hermione that it was her house, too, as long as she wanted to live there.

I think the tea-towel just came along for the ride! Thanks for reviewing. :)

Well a little closer. I still think that they should reveiw hers again though, as I'm sure they missed something important.

So, are her powers gone, or just bound? That would make a difference, yes? Are the headaches her powers fighting the potion?

That's the sixty million dollar question. Can't tell you too much. Thanks for reviewing! :)

I liked how he cleaned up the extra room for her and found a cozy quilt. A bed just isn't comfy with out a nice quilt. Oh, YAY! He found her!

So tender and innocent, even the opening of the wrong door was still so innocent. He wants to care for her. This is the quintessential Snape I love: tough on the outside, tender in private. He is a protector and I look forward to him getting closer to her and I hope romance? please?Livvy

Ahh, the age old question of romance. You will have to wait and see! Thanks for reviewing :)

I love this post-war, post-Voldemort Severus a lot - it seems that his time spent in the hospital, and learning of all the losses, has really helped him come to terms with a lot of his anger and bitterness (and getting rid of Voldemort, once and for all, can't have hurt either!).Hermione seems to be falling hard, even if she's yet to realise it. :-D Considering for how long the thought of him was her only hope, and that he actually emerged as her saviour, it's no wonder she's so affectionate towards him!I do understand her decision not to let Harry and Ron know yet - yes, in a way it's hard for them, but they've already had a long time to start dealing with her loss. And as she says, it wouldn't be the same if they couldn't even recognise her, anyway.

I like the idea that she doesnt want to see Harry or Ron yet. As always, outstanding chapter, well written, can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: It's too soon, isn't it? Thanks for review :)

Cool thing with the coin. Like I've said before, I can't imagine losing my magic if I'd had it forever. It'd be like losing one's sight: I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, or an irritating Know It All.
Author's Response:
It was her idea to start with, charming the Galleons for the DA. He was plagiarising! :)

Really? You made him WEEP? Come on. He should have just blown something up. It hurts my eyes to think about Severus weeping.
Author's Response: Well he was called Snivellus at school. Wonder why? Thanks for reviewing :)

I can just see Severus waking up, totally disgruntled and pissed and physically shattered and not thinking about anyone else, and then having that moment of realization - GRANGER!
Like when you put that frat boy in the trunk as a prank and then forgot to take him out... oh. wait. that was just me.
Author's Response: That was you?! Might have known! :)
