Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

I enjoyed this chapter. It was well written and sad. Please update soon.

Next chapter just needs one more check and then off to beta, so you should see it soon. Things will start to look up soon. Thank you for your kind words. :)

I can't get what Snape said to Hermione at the end of the first chapter out of my head, "Never stop believing." I do hope Hermione will get better soon! If not her magic powers, at least her memory.Livvy
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Well that's the thing, she does have her memory, but not her powers, which is why it's so much more traumatic. Just the way old Voldie planned! Thanks for the review :)

Creepy start to a tale I look forward to reading. Thank you for sharing this. It is a very interesting idea, a great take on the prompt.

Thank you Pookah, things will get better for Hermione, eventually!

Oh this is a truly evil thing to have to endure! But where will Hermione go now- she's not trained to live and work as a Muggle?
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Well she does live as Muggle during the summer holidays, but employment may be a problem. ;)

A nice story you have written here. The angst in the beginning was quickly dissolved and from then on everything was heading towards a nearly canon-compliant happy ending.Well done!

Thanks for all lovely reviews! :)

You are very welcome :-)
Could it be that Ron left Severus to find the new Mrs. Weasley instead of the new Mrs. Snape at the wedding?I think it sweet that Hermione and Ron are giving each other away.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
I don't think he went looking, but he found her anyway. :)
How generous of Ron.In any other story I'd suspect underlying motives here.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
His only underlying motive is for them all to be happy, himself included.
Thank you so, so much for writing a smart and caring Ron. He is underappreciated much too often!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
He doesn't have to be an ass!
So, by altering her parent's memories and sending them down under, she actually did them a favour.A toy wand? LOL What a good idea.

Nothing like a change of identity and lifestyle to deal with stress!
*That* simple? You are truly a genius!

I work on the K.I.S.S. principle
I really like the banter between them. They have fallen into a comfortable relationship so easily.Your diaglogues are just perfect.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
It was fun writing the dialogue. Thanks! :)
I can't say that I never seen that happen before. I know of someone who gave away their ex-wife at a wedding. (i think more people showed up to the wedding because of that -- I guess they were expecting a big drama to take place) Anyways, I think that everything was tied up quite neatly in the end. Perhaps too neatly? I guess that would depend on the person reading it. I was kind of hoping that it would be more drama involved with ending of Ron and Hermione's relationship but then again that is not their story - its Severus and Hermione's.I really liked their relationship together, how it grew and developed over the years. I enjoyed reading it, and it did keep me questioning their motives so that is a plus in my book. The writing in general was good and fluent ....and I learned a few new words XD. So the only real issue that I had was that I found the ending to be somewhat rushed (ron and hermione's relationship). I hope you don't mind me stating this, like I said to you before, I can come off as "naggy" when I'm really not. Just telling people how I really think. But I really did like your story!
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
I like your reviews, Kel. They are always constructive! I agree that the R&H bit was rushed, but as you say, it is S&H's story. The parts about Ron and Herms were just to explain what happened in the interim. I didn't really want to rabbit on for chapter after chapter about Ron LOL. :)

I noticed through the story that three of your characters are very similar in that they are really self-sacrificing. They act mature in their thinking but I can't help but feel that they are sort of giving up to easily.I hope you don't take that badly, I was just pointing out my thoughts to you after reading this chapter.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Thanks for your thoughts, hey at least you reviewed and thought about the story! Perhaps I just like 'em noble? Anyway, as far as Ron goes, he can see that he is not benefitting from continuing the marraige either, so it's in his best interest to be nice about it. Sev seems to be always portrayed as self-sacrificing, poor guy! And Hermione... I think she just being a bit thick! IQ does not necessarily represent EQ. :)

..that wasn't so bad... OMG! Why do they always have to say that? There are some cunning ones that say they like to joke about in order to even say it! XD

More powerful now eh. If only voldemort knew that before. LOL Now she doesn't want to give her parents memories back! Hermione, Hermione, you're their daughter. They have to it least know you. XD *shakes head*

Hehe, that caused a lot of discussion. :)

Yes, Severus is growing quite mature.I like the fact that Hermione is slightly more smarter.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Well, she IS a girl! Anyway, you know what they say; give a man a hammer, and everything he sees is a nail. Sev is a Potions master...
Response from KellyH (Reviewer)
I never heard that saying but I really agree with it XD

awww There friendship is developing quite nicely. I was thrown off by the masterbating scene, really didn't expect that but it was so funny! Then of course, Hermione meantioned coming in with a cloth and ice which got me giggling like a school girl over the kinkyness she do with that! o_0 (Never did find a fic that used ice in smut, but I'm digressing) Continuing on....
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Ice in smut? Is that a challenge?
Response from KellyH (Reviewer)
I think maybe it is! I so do like giving out challenges!

"succinctly"I learned a new word today! Yeah for me!Well her spirits seemed to be uplifted after seeing that her power was not really stripped away.... or could it be the thought of loving an older man??? XD

Okay, I read both chapters together, because goodness knows the end of the previous chapter was worrying as it was. I can see how you've crafted the story to justify the characterization and avoid the 'adultery' warning by the skin of Sev's yellow teeth. And it is a beautifully crafted story. If I didn't disagree so fundamentally on the ideas of romance, passion, and fidelity, it could have easily been one of my new favorite stories.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Thanks for taking the time to finish the story. I appreciate your thoughts and reviews. And, yes, you are right. I avoided the adultery bit very narrowly. Some could say that kissing and cuddling were, in essence, the same thing. I believe myself that her marriage to Ron was philosophically ended the moment that they accepted emotionally that it was over, and he gave his permission for her to go to Severus; the rest is just paperwork. In the same way, I believe that a couple can be just as truly married, whether they have a piece of legal paperwork or not. But then I hold no religious belief to make me feel a "ceremony" changes the nature of a relationship. Each to his own. Cheers :)

Oh, that's horrible! I thought for sure that she'd spend a year or two dating Ron and that would be it. I'm utterly disappointed and wish I'd gone to bed two hours ago, leaving this story alone as I'd originally intended.*cries*
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
*hands over a tissue* I'm sorry you felt that way, but if you had read the last two chapters, you would have found that she did end up with Severus after all. She needed time to grow up, and he needed time to heal after 20 yeears of spying and danger etc. Please try and read the last two chapters. Thank you for your comments throughout. :)

Oh, man ... I'm a sucker for a happy ending. I still think 'your' Ron is far too understanding and mature to have evolved from the Ron we see in canon, but the rest of the tale was so entertaining I found I really didn't care. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to the epilogue.

I'd like to believe that Ron would be so mature and understanding, but somehow I can't see it. You've woven a lovely tale, however, so I'll not say any more on that subject.I love your Snape, however. I can so see him sitting back, not saying anything, and just loving her without any expections.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
I understand what you are saying, but I keep thinking of Charlie and Bill, and think that there is every chance that Ron would have turned out OK too. Thanks for reviewing. :)
