Really liked your closure.the combination of ss/hg - and keeping it in canon with ....19 years later .... and (even if i like it ordinary) without ron-bashing

I think everyone would start to questions his or her sanity in that situation. Good you let her have a reminder of her past, so she can have hope again.Snape's sudden change from bastard to human was ... unsuspected, but very welcome :-)

I really, really like this story!  And i am so pleased you have more plans for these characters!  You took the prompt and really made it your own!  wonderful and well thought out from start to finish!  I love stories that are well thought out!  you didn't have Hermoine slip seemlessly into some high-paying muggle job with no  muggle education and no magic to help her.  Where would a person in her postion end up?  YES a psych ward, naturally.  and when she gets out, no executive position, but waitressing.  And she uses her brains instead of wishin' and hopin' that someone will rescue her! And the romance bewteen HG and SS is slow in coming, but that is all the more natural.   Good job!Thank you for sharing this with us!

a very interesting story.  I find snape really non-canon, but I guess you did give  a lot of explanation for that.  it all seemed to work out very happily-ever-after-ish.  I think I probably would have included more character development in between the main scenes.  but overall, a fun read!  can't wait for the epilogue!

Wonderful, Hermione! I love how it was something so seemingly simple. I can only hope that she was on the right track with the spell, which does seem to be the case given the potion was identified. Of course, this spell might be one that can't be ended so easily.

You have done a really good job with the banter between the two of them. I can see Hermione's suspicion, but can also see that as Severus's only long time friend he would be worried.
