I've long held the belief that a lot of the scowling, surly, snarky personna that Snape projected was part of his 'cover'. Although the smiling, joking, caring Snape that you've written may seem a bit OOC to some, I like him very much.

Oh, I'm so glad I'm so far behind in my reading and reviewing -- that means I have a number of chapters of this wonderful story to look forward to.Loved the reference to Potter Place and the strange goings-on there. Waiting anxiously for Snape to remember what's happened to Hermione and begin his search for her.

I am intrigued by this story.  It has an interesting plot that you don't see often.  While neither Snape nor Hermione are completely canon, at least to me, they are developed well.I am very interested in what happens when she meets Ron and Harry.

I love the banter between Hermione and Severus.  They remind me of an old married couple without the sex.  I love it.  I wonder what Lucius is up to.  A Malfoy is always up to something.
