Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

Thank Merlin! Severus had given Hermione the charmed Galleon, and she had it with her still! It was the only thing she had to hold on to. It gave her a feeling of saftey and hope for the future. Without it she would have had nothing to which she could anchor her spirits: Twice a day, as regular as Hogwarts’ mealtimes, the coin heated.... Hermione was almost convinced that Snape was still alive and in possession of the other charmed Galleon. Thank Merlin! Severus had given Hermione the charmed Galleon. It was the only thing that had given his life purpose. Finding her would bring him peace and a sense of redemption: ...deep down in that place where he used to have a heart, he desperately wanted to save her, to see that annoying, bushy hair and hear her ask another irritatingly perceptive question. Don’t give up, Hermione, he thought as he touched the Galleon with his wand. Don’t give up on me. These two survivors of the war need each other, need to be connected, need each other in order to feel complete. And they were so close! But timing is everything, and tonight their timing was off. Hopefully, tomorrow, or soon, they will find each other and begin to travel the long road home together. What a wonderful tale! I am thoroughly enjoying myself!!! Thanks!Beth

Oh! So close... The suspense is great.I hope he finds her at work the next day. Then he needs to reverse the effects of the potion-if they are, in fact, reversible. But I guess you wouldn't leave poor Hermione as Muggle forever.
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Wouldn't I? No... you're right, I couldn't do that, she would slap me! Thanks for reviewing. :)

Oh wow. his reaction to the news was really well done. Maybe Herminoe should go to Potter Place? no?
Response from sunny33 (Author of Full Circle)
Thanks, Bea. No, I think she should stay away, she could get lead astray there! :)

Things are moving along, it seems - I rather admire Hermione, determined to make the best out of this, seemingly completely hopeless situation. Looking forward to seeing what will happen next!

Great Chapter. The characterisations mostly true and the setting...very true. But I was wondering why Hermione did not say that she had always loved studying but the way life turned out she didn't get a chance? But then that would open up the questions again I suppose. I loved the description of Pettigrew as his 'murine freeloder! he he!Cheers

She wanted to avoid anyone asking awkward questions; better just to let them assume she had failed her exams. Thanks for your comments :)

This is so sad. Hermione has no home to go to and Severus has no one to go home to. I hope that as a result of the news he got about all those who were lost in the battle and his cathartic weeping, Severus will be reminded of Hermione's actual fate and the Galleon he gave her... and I hope she still has it.Great story. You have gotten Severus' and Hermione's characters spot-on. I am really into this tale!!!Beth

Well, I supposed he had only recently regained consciousness, and hasn't had many visitors. The staff are unlikely to have sat and chatted with him! Thanks for your review. :)

Argh - how long does it take for him to finally remember Hermione? Could somebody please kick him in the - well you know where?

Very interesting, I can't wait to see what happens next! It seems as thought Snape doesn't even remember what happened to Hermione...and there's no more mention of the Galleon he gave her, I wonder if it had any purpose...or even if she still has it or if it was dropped / stolen before she was found in the alley? Thank you for sharing this story, I'm definately looking forward to reading more! :)
