Hermione, Severus, and Draco's lives become intertwined in ways none of them could have predicted or imagined. This is a story that weaves three perspectives together: Hermione's, Snape's, and Draco's. Please note that this story will end up being MA and contain slash.
After Dumbledore is killed by Snape, Voldemort goes on to take over the Ministry of Magic and installs Snape as Headmaster at Hogwarts. Believing the remaining horcruxes to be hidden at Hogwarts, Harry, Hermione, and Ron return to Hogwarts. Needing a way to spy on Snape, Hermione comes up with an idea that has unintended consequences.
Draco believed that he and Severus had something special. But before returning to Hogwarts, Severus mysteriously ends their relationship. Dejected, Draco returns to Hogwarts determined to win Severus back.
Severus Snape is working on a secret project, one that will give him a power no other human has ever had before. But the project has withered to a standstill as he is overwhelmed with his new duties as Headmaster and Voldemort's favorite Death Eater.

I'm a married bisexual disabled person who loves Harry Potter fanfiction. My favorite pairing is probably Hermione/Severus, though I also enjoy Harry/Severus and Harry/Draco. On rare occasions, I even enjoy Hermione/Draco.
I normally try to write one chapter a week for active fanfictions, and one or two chapters a month for original stories.

His cover is blown, yeah right. I think he means he can't walk on no side but his own anymore. I hope Hermione knows what she is getting into. Snape seems to be the ultimate opportunist here and he will probably miss that manly touch again.

Draco should have studied Muggle song lyrics of the first half of the 20th century (perhaps a little too esoteric for any teenager, let alone a pure-blood, teenage wizard)."You always hurt the one you love, The one you shouldn't hurt at all. However, the version I'm familiar with was recorded by Spike Jones so the original intent was already skewed almost beyond recognition but you get my point. I'm glad that Draco was already sorry when he arrived at the DL's lair. That means there is hope a la Pandora's box. Meanwhile, still love the story. Glad to see Severus got out of the wall. Gives a whole new slant on wallflowers. ^_^

Something that gives Snape a power? It seemed like maybe he had lost his magic if he couldnt heal the bruises? I like how the POV switches.

Looking back on it, the bruises bit was kind of a mistake I had made. The point was that this project was so secret he wouldn't even go to Madam Pomfrey for fear she'd ask where the bruises came from.The POV changes every chapter after the prologue: Hermione, Draco, Severus.
