She had assumed that he Apparated them somewhere safe, somewhere they couldn't be found.But I'll bet he will do what he can to protect her.  She has, I think, become important to him.  Certainly he still has feelings for Draco, but I think all three of them might be very happy together.Beth

It seems as if Severus is forgetting that Hermione is one of the Golden Trio.  He is so starved for an intellectual equal that he told her more than he intended to.And Hermione is taken with the Potions Master's willingness to teach her things she otherwise wouldn't learn.  The boys can be so dense sometimes I'm sure Hermione gets frustrated, and now, in her defense of Snape, he has blurted out to all and sundry "that I think Professor Snape might be on our side!” I'm guessing that was a big no-no.  I really like this story!Beth

Arghhhhh!  Draco can't seem to catch a break.  What will he do about his broken heart now... especially since he already jealous about the amount of Snape's time Hermione manages to commandeer... I'm glad that Dumbledore has told Harry that Snape is still loyal to him.  The talking portraits on Chocolate Frog collectible cards is a clever plot device.Now I wonder just how Hermione will try to keep an eye on Snape and how much trouble she will get into.  Beth

Why am I not surprised that it was Hermione who figured out how to break the curse?

Well, Voldermort has always been a pain in the arse so why was I surprised that even his death would be inconvenient?Poor Severus just when things were going to fall in place he is interrupted by a house elf with news of his master's demise.  Well, at least it was good news.

  Treedy needs some training or retraining as the case may be.   Ahem.  What was "Master's plan" that worked so well and expediciously?
