Him back at Hogwarts. decent Minderva spares him the look of D. And he gets a job!! yippee.what does he mean he is gratefull. THEY,whoever they are can be thankfull for this piece of publicity and for such a skillfull coworker.and she has a plan too. work at the ministery. Doesn't she have to finish school? So the burrow is on better terms with him now. nice turn.and necessary. The box! I surely forgot about the box. And he charmed a christmas tree for her. And please tell me they can trace down the Grangers, please. for me the most touching and important words here were her: "You don't have to earn my happiness."He is arriving in a new life. And under new conditions. No deovote obeying. And he truly loves her. and finally she can sense it.ahh, so good. healed at last?A very soothing showdown.these inner struggles, sometimes loud sometimes quiet are so thrilling. you managed it all so brilliantly. they deserve this outcome, they struggled hard for it, I daresay.Thank you so much.

It'S not that I knew that moment would come someday. But, well are you sure that after a second life there could be no third life for us readers? I suffer!!!!for sure you must be totally exhausted. You must, because you surely gave more than everything here with this perfect perfection of an unsatisfying story (epilog). 
please, tell me there comes something more, just one or two chapters. ok. we have phantasie of our own. but that is no option after being spoilt by you for 48 chapters!!!
but it can not be helped, I fear. so let me just thank you again!! Hugs and chocolate for a lifetime!!! Salvamea

Ooooo. I saw the little "Complete" at the bottom of the thingy and OH! I wanted to ... Cry? Squeal? Not read it so I can pretend it never ends... !!!
Well, now that would NEVER happen!!! So... Where can I possibly begin???? Gheez... amazing, amazing, incredible. Thank you so much for writing this brilliant story. It's like... it's like the way it should have been. Should be. IS... Yes, that's the way it is... I will just rip out the inside of my Deathly Hallows and glue this in it's place!!!!

You treated her dreadfully when you left her unsure of how to feel towards the verdict. She could have jumped for joy. But no, he must blast all the fun. Of course, he was not free of every item. ok. but no vital stains on his personality left. you were very kind to him.At least he finds out after 2 months that it was truly to his benefits, that he had been given work, occupation for this brilliant mind and senses. to force him back to life. Yes. What a dodge!! You are more than talented!And then you allow her to breath again, even to laugh and have some fun. relief. beetles eyes. by all means. this man has a sense of humour. "I didn't wreck the potion." "It fell. I bear no responsibility for this mess."lol.that was soo desperately needed.and so natural at the same time.Ant what about this "saving each other from time to time." you must be married for a long time? experience speaking?

I couldn't make it through the first part without crying, and now here I am, bawling like a baby.
Again.
When you told me earlier today, so much emotion rose up, and I had to places to go, so I forced it down, said to myself, "No, Second Life is not over, it really isn't." I cried, but then I stopped. And I did things.
And now, I've read this. And it really, truly is over, and I can't stop crying. And Meg, part is for you, but honestly, I have to be honest... So much is for me. You have no idea how you and your story wove yourselves into the very fabric of my life, and in no way was I prepared for that all to end.
It feels... It feels like coming home from Portus, only worse.
And yet... It feels like being at Portus. Magic, Meg. You wrote magic. I will forever be glad that I decided to send you that first email. With that, the story sewed itself into my heart, just like you have.

Through all the ups and downs they held onto one another--wounded, but still together! That was a realistic and emotion-packed finish. Just great. I really prefer that to a syrupy ending.Thanks for a wonderful and thoughtful story.

NO IT CAN'T BE FINISHED. ....I'm going to cry again, only because it was one of the most perfectly written stories I have ever read. The ending left me wanting more. Thank you so much for writing this wonderful story and many , many thanks for sharing it

Waaahhh! I hate it when the good stories end! This is such a wonderful fic! It makes so much more sense for people, especially those from the front-lines, to be slightly broken and require some time to heal rather than everything being 'suddenly perfect' after Snake-face dies (as seems to happen fairly often in fanfiction). 
I love how much they obviously care about eachother, so much so was that the greatest concern for both of them was the well-being of the other. 
Really adored this! Hope that you have something else in the works, so we can see more of your writing soon!

It isn't the end, but a new beginning. One that has so much more hope than either of them thought that they could have. The hope that we held for them that was denied by That Other Author.You have made things right for them. Not perfect, just right.After all of these months of waiting anxiously for each and every chapter, anticipating each savory morsel, it seems impossible that it could be complete.Dare we hope that we will see them again? This was one of the first Severus/Hermione stories I read. I would constantly check for updates, and in doing so, discovered a lot of wonderful stories. But this will always have a special place in my heart, sort of the way I remember the first boy I loved, as something sweet and oh so perfect. This has been a tremendous adventure, thank you for taking us with you.

Oh, I cannot believe this is the end. What an amazing story. Perfect from beginning to end. I laughed, I cried, I shouted. I couldn't wait for the next chapters. There were even a few I had to read in the dark! (rawr!).I know I've said it a dozen times before, but truly, you really are one of the masters of this ship. Your writing is beautiful. I never ever thought this ship would appeal to me, but you've done such an incredible job of making Snape and Hermione so plausible. You reach out and grab the reader in such a way they just end up cheering for these two. And the way you ended it was poignant and beautiful.Well done, well done!

I want to see you writing Second Life when you are 100, but I know all good things must come to an end and when they are as fabulous as this story they come to a close even more quickly.
