Wow, Oliver really is an idiot. And I'm glad Severus and Hermione are moving on, and really, I like that Ron had some sense.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Oliver is very hurt. Ron can finally let go of Hermione now that they've talked.

Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! No, not at all! ;-) Glad you enjoyed!
Oh wow, I'll say emotions are running high!
You do an amazing job of juggling four different relationships with four totally different sets of issues and emotions, and making them all vibrant and alive.
And I like the way they're intersecting right now, too!
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! It's hard sometimes! Glad you're enjoying!
So many cliffhangers in one chapter! I really like the way you're able to juggle so many plotlines so gracefully.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! It's hard to do, sometimes!
Wow, talk about crisises! It seems like everything's going wrong, doesn't it!?Oooh, Harry had to burst in right when Severus was going to tell Hermione he loved her, didin't he! Grrrr. . . Well, now for some psychiatrist talk: Ron and Luna desperately need to talk. Ron obviously needs Luna, and I bet the same goes for her. I mean, kiss and make up, hey?Ginny and Oliver. . . well, I think Oliver's being a pig. I mean, Ginny can't really say she's never going to see Harry ever again, can she? That would be ridiculous! I mean, he really isn't listening to the sweet voice of reason here, and Ginny is so fed up she's leaving! (Or at least that's what it seems like. . . ?) They are having major problems. Oh, Severus! How sweet of him to worry about Hermione like that!Same goes for Harry! I like how you're pairing everyone up, even though Harry wasn't actually forced to, you know, marry, or anything.Another completely wonderful chapter! Thank you so so much!~Katie
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Yep, it does!He sure did! ;-)They do...Well, Ginny really hurt Oliver. He's wondering why she felt she had to keep Harry's being in Italy a secret...Harry really cares for Cho.More Up Soon!
Well - all the relationships have had turns for the worst and maybe they can dig themselves out of the problems. Ron realizes that he wants Luna but she is not there. Ginny walks away and leaves Oliver after finding perfume and lipstick on him. Severus chews Hermione out for not taking the time to let him know why she is late coming home. Cho's been kidnapped by a killer. What a chapter - what great story plots.

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying them all! More up soon!
Interesting developments with Severus and Hermione. And good for Ron to realize he doesn't love hermione any more...
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Yes, now he can move forward.
HOW dare you leave a cliffie like that!! Come back here and update at once!!!! Geesh~!
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
~Smiles~ I hope to have the next chapter done by the end of the weekend!
Poor Luna! Ron, on the other hand, deserves Azkaban.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
LOL! Thanks! Indeed.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
LOL! Thanks! Indeed.
Methinks Narcissa protests too much. Hopefully, bedding a Gryffindor hasn't dulled Severus' Slytherin instincts for trouble! And poor Luna and Ron! He really is clueless.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
LOL! Thanks! I don't think it's the bedding the Gryffindor, I think it's just that these are his friends and he wants to take them at their word...
Yeah, Ron is clueless, but soon, he will get a clue!
A few bumps? It feels more like the rollercoaster The Viper at Magic Mountain! only with everything in tripple instead of double!! Good chapter by the way... all four couples are on the rocks, on a storm tossed sea in a row boat (Or needing a therapist!)
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
LOL! Thank you bea! Glad you enjoyed... Yep, maybe I should have called this chapter Rocky Road! ;-)
Oh dear! Looks like everybody's having difficulties. At least Harry and Cho are working them out.
Oh damn, the review box stopped not being difficult.
Oliver and Ginny, oh dear me, it's just getting worse and worse. I suppose they had it coming, given that it started out so relatively well for them. I have to say though that assuming he didn't want her to be there for the celebration was kind of really stupid on Ginny's part. When has he ever not wanted to spend time with her?
Luna and Ron, I was really happy when they had sex, I thought it was going to be make up sex of sorts, but now it seems he managed to scare her instead. And she still gave in and took what he would give her even if it was emotionally unpleasant for her. That's so sad. I'd also have to say poor Ron, though. He's obviously reached a point where he wants things to be better for them, but he doesn't know how. I like how he's comparing her with Hermione and how he didn't know how to handle her either. It makes it seem as if on some level he's always been a little bit lonely. But at least they got some things said, so even if it's all very sad right now, I think they're on their way to better things too.
Severus and Hermione are at least on the same side. I think they'll be the first ones to figure out that divorce isn't necessary. Narcissa is totally up to something and I hope against hope that Hermione will refuse to go. It really would be for the best for her to not go.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! I can see both Oliver and Ginny's sides here, but I lean more with Oliver. She should've mentioned it, I think.
Luna doesn't want to be just sex for Ron, and he's given her no indication that she's not. She is very hurt and confused, and at this point has given up. Ron is starting to come around...
Yep, Narcissa is up to something, but who's to say she'll get what she wants?
>;)
Okay, I keep saying which people are being idiotic, let's flip it on it's head.
Yay, Harry! For beginning to put it behind him at last. And for forgiving Ginny. Of sorts.
Yay Oliver, for protecting Ginny against the big bad Harry and mid-game too!
(OMG the review box is behaving normally! :D)
Yay Luna for telling Ron what he was made of and taht although she's loved him for a long time she might not continue to do so when constantly treated badly
Yay Ron for realising that he likes her more than he's willing to admit.
Boo Severus for leaving Hermione like that, he might as well have thrown her to the sharks. It makes me think that he doesn't really understand what it's like to be muggleborn in that sort of company
Yay on him though for defending her.
Yay on Madeleine for actually being a decent person and approving of being turned down that way although the entire situation must have been a little humiliating for her. I kind of like her, although I can't see why she would want to be friends with Narcissa.
Yay on Severus again for realising that Hermione wasn't really unreasonable at all and that she was actually the victim of the evening.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
I think Harry needed to talk to Ginny as much for himself as for her. They both needed this.
Yep. Oliver to the rescue!
I thought it was time Luna made some sort of stand. I don't want her to be a doormat even though she's very understanding of Ron and his reluctance due to his feelings for Hermione.
Right, Severus was NOT thinking!
Right, Madeleine was sorta caught off guard too, though she handled it well.
At last I get to this story! I've been so behind on reading it's not even funny, but I had to take them in the order they had been updated or I'd just accidentally skip stuff.
Let's see, the idiots of this chapter are Cho, Ron and Oliver, and to some extent Harry too.
Cho, why oh why can't you just listen to the man when he's trying to tell you something and when it is so obviously about the thing that you're upset about. And Harry does have a point about that bait thing, although I also think he's kind of a little bit unreasonable. I'd say he was completely right, he should have made her listen.
Ron, well he's not as idiotic as he has been, but I thought he was still a bit mean to Luna here. She was just trying to do something nice to him in return for his doing something nice for her. Least he could do was say thank you instead of pretty much telling her to go away and not touch his stuff. It made me wish that George would realise that Luna always says stuff like it is, she doesn't make up excuses like it was cold or drafty. If she says it was cold then it bloody well was. I kept expecting himto shout at Ron about it, but I suppose Ron's obvious unease with this Stanly fellow sort of countered it. There's hope for him yet.
Oliver is perhaps not so much an idiot as he's completely impossible to figure out. And to think he was so promising. So he knows about the infinity symbol and thought it was nice. Okay. He reminds Ginny that it doesn't mean anything concerning the divorce has changed. Okay. He then won't let her out of his sight because someone might be interested in her? What? Okay, he's just feeling a little responsible for her safety while they're married. But he still gets angry about her loving Harry! Can I whack him please? Basically he just told her that she can't like him too much, but she's not allowed to like anybody else either. I'm glad Ginny got her way. It's kind of Ron-ish behaviour with the Stanly-fellow, except Ginny's totally different from Luna, so she reacted completely differently. All in all, he may think that he found that symbol nice and that was it. I know he found it nice for a reason.
At least Severus and Hermione were being reasonable people. Which is good because it was totally their turn to have a little peace.
I'm so sorry if there's weird spacing in this. I'm experiencing review box troubles.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Cho is so hurt and bitter from her past that it's very hard for her to let her guard down, though she really wants to.
Ron thinks that by pushing her away it will be easier on all involved when the year is up. Only... His heart gets in his way. He fights the feelings he has for her because he has trust issues due to what he says as Hermione going behind his back rather than talking to him.
With Oliver and Ginny here, they both have feelings for the other, but don't want to be the first to say so for fear of rejection. He's not convinced that she's over Harry.
Yep, it's definitley SS/HG's turn!
Those Malfoys are nasty pieces of work.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Yes, they are, but you have to remember, they honestly believe that they are doing Severus a favor. Remember his reaction when he received the Ministry letter while he was dining with them, and how he thought of her while she was in school? They believe he is "stuck" in an unhappy marriage.
Just as well he redeemed himself there, could have been nasty.
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! Yep, you're right.
Just like a sauna, hot , steamy, and leaves everything limp!
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thank you! Now there's a description!
They are coming along nicely, aren't they?
Response from cocoachristy (Author of Magical Betrothal)
Thanks! They seem to be...
