Man, I can't wait for this business with Ron and Hermione to be compeletely over and done with.  She could do so much better, and Ron deserves to have his nice shags, boring conversation, and miserable relationship with Lavender.  Bah.

I started out hating Bella and just annoyed with Lucius. Now I think he's evil incarnate, he's irredeemable...I do hope Draco will rethink his view on Severus once the baby shows up, or at least start to.

This chapter shows the begins of danger, I think, with Draco's misplaced hate towards Severus.  I have to wonder what mistake he's going to make when he has the opportunity...

Jeeze.  Harry's being stupid, Ron is just stupid to beging with... and I almost feel bad for Narcissa and her delusions.  But not quite...

It will be interesting to see as the story goes on how Narcissa handles her child being raised by someone else... 

I know I'm not reviewing like a good girl, but I am enjoying this story.  I'm especially looking forward to meeting the brat... although now that Hermione has been forwarned, her reaction might not be as entertaining.  It'll be interesting, though.

My bet is on Snape wanting Hermione to take care of his child.

I love the Malfoy portions here, and I love that Snape would have taken up for me, I mean, Narcissa, in this chapter if he'd had to.

yay! a new chapter! i loved the contrast between bella and narcissa's mothering styles--both were very in character there. poor hermione (I would rather shag a book than ron, too.) and draco and wormtail...ewwwww.... you're doing a great job of keeping all the characters fresh and interesting.

I loved the encounter between Snape and Lucius--and I am grateful that you did not have Draco service Wormtail, it is to early in the morning for that visual! You both have done a good job here w/ the characterizations--Ron pressuring Hermione for sex, Bella drinking during pregnancy, Hermione more concerned w/ finding the horcrux than playing w/ Ron, Lucius planning revenge ...this is what I love best when reading a story, characters that keep their canon dispositions while doing AU kinda things! Good job and I hope real life settles down for you both.

I'm not concerned about the so-far lack of an SS/HG relationship.  No.  Hermione has a bit of maturing to do, which I believe she has done a bit of in this chapter.  It will be fun to watch how you bring her around from Ron to Severus, for sure.

About Narcissa, I knew she was going to lose the baby to Severus once it had been born.  There is much more to the Severus/Narcissa/Lucius/even Draco thing, and I am looking forward to all of it revealing itself (or you revealing it, I should say).

All in all, an excellent story, and I'm not just saying that.  I think you girls are doing a wonderful job. 

Why am I glad Hermione stopped Ron?  There was a tell-tale quote there, which I'm not sure you intended, when she said, "but I know if we carry on right now, I’ll likely not be able to stop you."  She didn't say, "I'll not be able to stop."  Interesting...

The Severus/Narcissa interlude was sweet and caring at least.  Poor Narcissa, who will probably only be close to her child in pregnancy.

It'll be very interesting to see how this all will play out. 

I think it is perfectly fine to develop the story and the characters and put off the SS/HG relationship until that is taken care of.  To just jump into  SS/HG  would be a bit unrealistic.  Of course Hermione would be still interested in Ron at this point.  You are adhering to post-HBP canon after all.  I want to commend you both on developing the back story like you are doing.  I'm afraid that us fanficcers get a little spoiled by having so much already done for us.  I know that I am guilty of not setting the scene and rushing into things in my stories.  I guess what I'm saying is that I am enjoying reading this very much.  Bravo.
