I feel bad for Hermione having such a, er... lackluster first experience.  I believe there's a reason Peggy Lee's hit "Is That All There Is?" is still well known 50 years later; it's a common sentiment and the song's suggestion that sometimes it is preferable (and more fun) to just keep dancing is real wisdom, albeit generally incomprehensible to teenagers.As for Southern's question about Snape loving Narcissa, I'd say highly unlikely.  I think he told her the truth when he said he was just doing as ordered.  He has no reason to lie to her and her transparent belief she could easily manipulate him would have antagonized him enough not to sugarcoat anything to her.  Ladies, now that you've set the scene, I'm ready for things to get rolling, though I hope you won't forget to provide updates on the pregnancies of the Black Sisters, especially Bella.  All of these DeathEater pregnancies seems like an inversion of the Marriage Law premise and it has high amusement potential  ~

Okay.  I'm properly hooked.  I have an idea where this is heading.  I do like that Hermione enjoyed Ron at first, too bad he's just not experienced enough to complete the "exercise."  Looking forward to Severus' new assignment.  Perhaps, it will bring him in contact with a certain student?

I loved the last two chapters, can't wait for the next update.  I really hope Narcissa decides to try and run, and escapes the Dark Lord and Lucius.  Will we see much of Draco in the next chapter?

I'm sorry, but if there is one pair I do not like at all it's Hermione/Ron. *ugh* Let's hope that little experience will cure Hermione of any romantic feeling for Ron... Hmmm, did that Contraceptive Charm work? Babies seem to be a theme here.Picturing Bellatrix being 8 months pregnant or as a mother is really funny, although not for the child I think. *shudder* I understand Ginny's frustration; Harry can be so exasperatingly stubborn!And poor Narcissa; she's not too bad, just desperate I think. excellent chapter! everyone-esp. Harry/Ginny and R/H-were very in character. i felt sorry for everyone, too though. poor narcissa... can't wait to see how things develop!

Er yeah so when is the great stuff gonna happen? (HG/SS) I mean?  I'm sorry but that Ron/Hermione scene made me feel a bit queasy!I loved the Bella/Rodolphus scene though! As for Snape loving Narcissa? I think he cares about her like a friend, but he knows when to keep his distance.  Lucius is going to be angry enough as it is....MORE!

Wonderful chapter! The characters all act so naturally. Ron and Hermione remind me of my own teenage days, they seem so real (and I pity them, poor sods, though I have an inkling or two where this might lead).

Narcissa, again, was wonderful. A scheming Slytherin in her own way. I loved to see that - a Slytherin can be scheming and plotting even if the aim is not to rule the world. Snape? Hm, that's a good question. I think he does, but as an honourable man he would of course push her away.

But I won't go guessing too much. I always guess wrong, and that's embarrassing. I'll simply lean back and wait till my guesses are confirmed or refuted. ^-^ *leans back*

I liked the juxtapostion of first time sex between SS/NM in the previous chapter to R/H in this one. Poor Hermione - that was about the most unsexy willing sex I've read (all that kneading - like he was handling dough).

For some reason the thought of Bellatrix as a mother made me laugh...she just doesn't seem the motherly type.   Snapes rejection of Narcissa was excellent! So far you guys are doing a bang up job of keeping Snape close to canon (at least in my opinion). Good job and as always, looking forward to the next update.

All the manipulations on the dark side, I don't know what to think.  My guess with Severus is that he may have desired her in the past, but her marrying Lucius would embitter him.  As for Lucius, my prediction is that he would be livid. Hermione and Ron together never works for me.  She is too smart for him.  Ron never gets it, and Hermione endlessly has to explain things to him, which result in constant bickering.  So, you have my blessing to take the boot to that relationship.  And last, Harry breaking up with Ginny makes no sense. I don't understand while Rowling ended the book that way. They could keep the relationship underground and behaive differently in front of others (non family). Sure, Harry is sacrificing his personal happiness for his mission, however he would be emotionally stronger if he knew his love would be there at the end.  I think I would rather read both your stories and those of other talented fans instead of buying book 7.

that chapter has begun a little sappy but then you made sure it didn't last. I don't think Ron and Hermione will last as a couple, Hermione is already drawing back. Well she's destined to Severus...Who I think really likes Narcissa but protects his feelings out of friendship for the Malfoys. I think your characterisation would fit nicely in canon.

And it's been so great so far! It's really interesting to see things through Narcissa's eyes. Though we know very little about her, I think you captured her character very well. The way she thinks of her son and husband just feel absolutely right.

As far as said son is concernce, I think you did a marvellous job. He's so admirably Draco. Rowling couldn't have written his thoughts better.

Last but not least, Hermione. Wonderful characterisation. It's so her to object to drinking whiskey and to wonder why Snape did what he did (always asking questions, that one ^-^).

Really, really wonderful so far. Coerced Salvation just went straight onto my list of the check-regularly-for-updates fics. 

I think Snape just wants Narcissa to THINK he's totally into her. That seems more in keeping with the intrigue developing so far. And poor* Cissy, she's being set up for some major disappointment/surprise. Isn't she? Awww shucks, can't wait for the next instalment!! I'm really loving this fic.

The plot just keeps on thickening.  I "see plans within plans."  (Dune)  Well thought out--and I am confused as hell.  It always takes me a while to figure anything out.  However, I enjoy the read.
