SW: We're going to swing it around in just a couple of chapters actually. Voldemort was quite brilliant with her punishment. He saw how much she cared about Draco and how she was willing to do anything to save him. He figures it will be hard for her to carry, birth, and love another child only to see it taken away from her and have its father raise it while she had no say in its life. A few Crucio's wouldn't have lasted until the end of her life. At least, I think it's pretty harsh. LOL. Maybe it's not so some. But even so, that's how our Voldemort's mind is working. He's also "rewarding" Snape in a way, punishing Lucius, and punishing Draco. Teehee.

CC: You think its lenient? Not me! I would hate to have to have another mans child! And this way, Voldemort punishes all three of the Malfoy's. First, she has to have a baby and give it away with no say how it's raised, Lucius has to watch her carry another man's child and Draco has to see his mother being treated in such away and know it was because he failed--not considered worthy. But hang in there--it will be HG/SS soon!

I often enjoy instropection when reading, so I use it while writing. I don't like long bouts of just narrative and thinking, though, so I do break in other things with it. Being the prologue, we sort of set the ground for the plot and how everyone was feeling about things. We've a great plot planned (so we think anyway). Hope you stick around.
