Alright, I'm reviewing. (I just started reading this story yesterday.)
Your plot is very suspenseful - and quite unique from anything else in the post-HBP genre - but I'm pretty much willing to believe that Snape wants Hermione to care for his daughter away from the deatheater crowd. The question is how does Snape kidnap the child?
<>Too bad Bella's child is dead (or is it?), because then Snape could switch the cousins, telling Voldie that Bella's child is his and slipping his own offspring away to Hermione. However, then Snape would have to fool Lucius, too, and that would be quite a feat.
I'm looking forward to reading your solution soon! An excellent job so far.....

Real life has been mean and it has been so long since I've had a chance to read and enjoy ff, I was so excited to see an update and then find out I had 3 chapters to read! This was great--the ending rocked and I think your Snape is just perfectly written. LOVE IT! And looking forward to the next update. (am I mean, because I'm glad Bella is dead?)

I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!I've had a rotten week. I have to go out in the freezing rain on a sprained foot and work for 2 hours. How could you do this????? Have mercy and post another chapter!

I always love when Ron acts the prat and Hermione gets to basically tell him to shove up his arse. Moments like that make it possible to digest a small bit of R/Hr.
Sometimes Lucius' evilness has such nice consequences. Glad to see Bella isn't always very smart.

hey guys, this story is awesome! ive read whats posted so far a few times now cuz its so terri-fic. lol. ok, that was the worse pun i have ever made.
moving on! as perfect as this story is, ive got one tinsy tiny lil thingy... “Hermione, Harry, it’s good to have you two here where I know you will be safe. I worry so for everyone’s safety, what with Severus on the loose. I'm thinking there should be a quote mark at the end, since the next person speaking is Arthur and its a new paragraph, so i figure Molly's done talking.
anyways. The story is wonderful. Great plot, excellent character development, wonderful dialouge. Straight to the faveorites list, i say! <3

Wow, a lot going on here! I just found this story with your 6th chapter. I haven't been reading on this site all that long so this was a pleasant suprise to be able to read this far along on a new story.

This chapter was very involved, I actually felt pity for Bellatrix, and obviously I am still waiting for Hermione to get angry and gut Ron, have a feeling I will not get to read that. Excellent story. Fia.

SW: I felt sorry for her baby, yes, but I think she had something coming to her, though maybe it shouldn't have been death. You'll see Hermione blow up on Ron in a future chapter. Sometimes the berk doesn't know when to shut it. :) Thanks for reading. We appreciate that and your comments.

I guess I should have used the word empathy, rather than pity. I have 6 healthy children, however each of my pregnancies was described as problematic. I lived through my 2nd with the knowledge that I could miscarry at any point (oddly enough this was the only one which didn't end in inducement, but was a normal labor and delivery, well if you call it lasting only 1 hour and 45 mins normal).Shortly after giving birth to one of my children I had a post-partem heamorrhage and the scenes where Bellatrix looks down at her robes and see's the growing blood stain on them, was eerily reminiscent of my experience, so hence the empathy. However I agree with you Bellatrix did have to get her come uppance and as they say a life for a life returns the balance. Now can somebody please point me in the direction of a fic where Lucius gets his butt kicked as I seriously feels he needs it. Fia
This is getting more and more interesting...but I was not expecting the smothering scene...excellent writing.

So many things happen in this chapter! Severus has so many enemies now, I wonder how many attempts at his life he'll have to thwart. And I can't wait to read his encounter with Hermione in the next chapter.

I am enjoying your efforts and I am very happy you both have the time to write regular updates now as I have been interested in this story since the beginning. Lucius is so wicked and just how I picture him to be. I haven't figured Snape out yet, of course. Each chapter continues to weave a plot that is over my head. Oh, I forgot to say something in my review...I'm thoroughly satisfied by Bella's early demise at Lucius' hand. Bleh! Can't say she didn't ask for some kind of punishment after her betrayal... How will Rodolphus deal with this news? And Lord Voldiepants? He just lost one of his Inner Circle, what will he do?Sorry for the two different posts, had too much to say. Really!

CC: NP! Yeah, Bella was definitely self centered and evil. Was going to kill her sisters child without a thought of how it would make Cissy feel. I don't think Rodolphus is going to be too happy!
Oh! So many things are happening now, where to start? Ron's an arse(*grin* though we already knew that. lol) and regrets his stupid ways... Draco is trying desperately to be nice and be on Hermione's side... does he want Ginny? Hermione is confused, so confused! What will she be asked to do by Snape? Snape... what's with him and the promise he extracted from Hermione? Does he want her to care for the baby? What about Narcissa and her wish to care for the babe? Lucius' thoughts?? And Bellatrix.... don't you get me started on that one! Poisoning her sis to miscarry, losing her own by careless manipulation(both physically and metaphorically).Hmmm, who did i miss? Oh yeah, Harry is a git and a dumb arse. This almost sounds like a soap opera... 'The Days Of Hogwarts', after these messages....Great stuff guys! Am looking forward to the next edition. Cheers!

Wow I am glad I read this story it is great so far. Please let me know when you guys update again. I am looking forward to Hermione figuring out that Snape isn't such a bad guy and I bet he is looking to her to raise his child should he die. However I live in hope for a happy, romantic ending. excellent chapter, evil cliffy. After the last chapter I thought ss would want hg to take care of his wee little one when he dies. A week seems like an awfully long time to wait for the next chapter, but I guess it is better than a month, will use this week to learn the art of patience.

SW: Hermione won't be very pleased with Snape, but he's got something that will sway her into reluctantly helping out. :) Lucius will continue to seek vengeance somehow.
I'll admit I'm pretty into this story now, despite my innitial distase at SS/NM. You've handled it well, and I'm excited to see where you take the relationship with Severus and Hermione. And I'll be interested to see what happens with Ron/Ginny/Draco/Harry.
The chapters can't come fast enough! :-D
