That's what makes me angry about families of abusers.  They protect them and do nothing to help the people they are abusing.  When you are writing a story the chapters take on a life of their own.  You stop when it seems right. 

Well, she can't really say no to Minerva, now can she?  I'm interested to see what happens with a little Slytherin/Gryffindor Head of House rivalry there......

Loving it so far... it's a nice change to have Harry sticking up for Hermione (we don't see that often) not to say I don't love Ron, but it's fun to hate him sometimes.  And even more happily, Harry/Draco is my favourite ship!  You rock.

Hey, I really enjoyed this chapter.Unfortnately I think Molly is reacting much the same way as some parents of abusive people act.  Making excuses and treating what they have done like they spilt juice on the floor instead of nearly killing someone.I'm glad Severus is letting her know she can go to him if she needs a friend.

Oh man! Molly is, I suppose, acting like a mother right? However, any sane person would want to keep the two of them as far away from each other as possible.  Really enjoyed this chappie!

Oooh!  Shame that Ron has to be the prat here, but in the interest of the story .....   me likey!

Poor Ron always gets cast as the bad-guy; and since he really is in this fic, I hope he gets what's coming to him.  It looks like Severus may actually be acting the adult; good for him.  Thanks for sharing your story!

I can see this being set up to where Hermione tells Severus all that she went through as Ron's wife. Since she is still using Weasley as her last name, I am assuming she isn't divorced yet... This story has so many possibilities. I'm definitely checking back for more!

another good chapter.  will we hear what happens to ron?  will she take her maiden name again?  will she be teasing snape about her house winning the cup?  waiting for more. p

good beginning.  scary to think ron would act that way.  but understandable considering how he is in the books.  hot headed.

I certainly hope it's To Be Continued.  You've piqued my curiosity.  I really do like stories where Hermione gets away from Ron.   That Ron is an abusing prat doesn't bother me too much; I can definitely see this as a possibility in his character.  Thank you for posting this, and I look forward to seeing a bit more!

Im loving your storythough I have to admit that when I read 'Sipping his tea again, he continued, “Anyway, while I was in Tibet, I lived with a group of Muggle Buddhists. They taught me about inner peace and forgiveness..' I laughed  so hard I nearly slipped out of my chair. I could only picture Snape wanting to kill himself in a month if spent with monks and talking about 'inner peace and forgiveness'. Hehe all troubled 'dark heros' seem to find peace in the hills with monks dont they? haha my cats in a huff with me for scaring her now.Great plot though.it does seem slightly short but it doesnt matter cause its a good read ^_^.

While I'm not part of the Ronald Weasley fan club, I find the characterization of him unlikely, as I also find that of Hermione as a passive victim.
