I am without a computer, so I am kind of spotty with reviews.  Doesn't mean I am not loving every minute of this.  It is clear already how right they are for each other.  Too bad life gets in the way.  But I am buckling my seatbelt and gearing up for a wild, exciting (dare I say angsty) and much anticipated ride!

Haha, how stupid can one be! When I saw the title of this story I thought to remember another story by that name. Even the description seemed familiar.
Maybe because was around the first time too :) and it is THAT story. Loved it then, will re-read with pleasure.

Oh yes, the only reason. snicker.   How sad Severus has a loveless marriage. sniffle.

That is a beautiful semi-afterlife scene, no wonder Sev is weird around Herms, he got pulled back before he could choose. Perhaps Hermione can be happy with Theo...

Poor Neville! He's such a sweetie, I hope things work out for him.

Oooh,   MLC and Severus is already married. Sounds like a lovely setup!

Despite my genre-awareness, I was rooting for Theo until he too fell into the 'ask Snape without talking to Hermione' camp. Guessing things will get rather bleak before the (oh dear, I don't even know if we get one) happy ending.

Poor Hermione, why does everyone insist on asking Snape for her hand without checking with her first? And I do wonder what's up with Theo? Doesn't swing that way? He'll have a tough time under the ML if that is so.

I had to laugh at both Severus' and Hermione's cases of butterflies that first day.  You did a good job of making them deal with their "first date jitters."

I think Cordelia's dinner party went well, and Lance was a true delight!

This is probably my most favorite chapter so far.  Hermione seems to be blossoming since she became Severus' apprentice.  Looking forward to the next chapter.

Excellent chapter!!!  I loved the interaction between Severus and Hermione in the lab.  The humming (and its solution) was priceless!

I'm very glad that they got to spend some time getting to know one another as adults, I think they needed it.  I especially loved the bad behavior from all the folks at the dinner party - no wonder the aunties were confused. 

I find myself wondering what it was that brought Severus and Cordelia together in the first place.  What started their relationship? has it always been as it is now? or was there something more between them in the past?  I get a strong sense that Cordelia hasn't been the kind of woman to limit her options, so to speak. 

She had woken from these dreams in tears, but the other dreams had been far, far worse. She had dreamt that her Goblin-wrought ring had burned, and in these nightmares her entire arm had burst into flame. She’d woken screaming more than once.  I got chills when I read this.

Lance is a prescient soul, isn't he?  Lance gazed at her over his glasses. “He watches you, you know...  He does it with great discretion, but he watches you constantly”  I adore Uncle Lance!!!

It's thrilling to read about The Brink making it to the Quarter Finals!  I will be reading it very soon.

Thank goodness Draco and Harry got Severus involved!  As badly as Hermione felt when she first opened the bedroom door to find Severus standing there, her mood was much improved by the time he left.  I think the offer to become his apprentice will bear good fruit!!

I knew this was coming, but I still felt my heart drop when Hermione realized that Theo had left with no plans to return.  She will really need Lance, Severus, and Moe as she tries to adjust to her changed circumstances.  The road ahead looks like it will be a hard one.

I'm playing catch up this weekend, so I'm off to the next chapter.

Excellent chapter! I love how they're able to work together. Too funny that Severus had to experiment in finding a composer that wouldn't inspire her to hum along. I'm kind of glad he brought it up -- her reaction was adorable. BTW, I keep wondering whose ring will burn first: Theo's or Hermione's. ;) 

Just want to say I'm really enjoying reading this again.  It's even better than I remember.
Also, congratulations on your story, "The Brink."  Read the two chapters, downloaded from Amazon, and I liked what I read so far.  Looking forward to reading the rest of the book.

theres alot to said for having an understanding with people, that was a nice dinner although i see another marraige on the rocks and i dont think snape cares lol, and i love lance sigh to bad bout that hahahahahaha. thanks for the update.

All is to quiet and going to well, when dose the bomb drop.  i really did like this chapter, getting to really know someone you taught you know can be a good expeiance, and the change from a teacher/student change would even greater.

Excellent new chapter for 'Denial' as well!  This could be the start of a beautiful, irritating but satifying friendship (and more, wink, wink!).  Hermione is on the right path and it seems that Severus is letting her get closer to him so it's a win-win situation.  I'm very glad that he is unfazed by Cordelia's behavior, it would be very hurtful if he wasn't.  Now about that Theo... (grrrrr!)  Can't wait for more! ;)
